I called Overhead Door of Augusta to repair my old Stanley Garage Door Opener. They had a day wait before they could check my door out so I went online and found Superior Overhead Garage Door and called them. They were able to come in about three hours. Turns out my motor was bad and replacement parts unavailable . They replaced my obsolete Stanley opener with a new Chamberlain opener. In the process they identified a couple of things needed to improve reliability and safety of my garage door (new garage door spring, new neoprene rollers with bearings, an upgraded J-Arm mounting bracket, surge protector and a door support brace. Installation was professional and cost fairly reasonable. I would recommend them highly. Great work and safety ethic. The professional attitude and skill of the technician, Richard W. Was very much appreciated. He provided a quote for me for various levels of service because I could only afford a certain amount of money. He explained what work was needed most and what I could do a little later. It ended up that I was able to do replace the springs, rollers and get a new reprogrammed remote. He was also able to fix one of my old remotes. I had some problems with this company initially. I will admit that it was most upsetting. I spent a lot of time waiting for the help on my garage. I was angered because there are so many home maintenance people who either don't show up or so poor jobs. I left them a poor review. I felt it only fair to come back and say that I was contacted and someone was immediately sent to my home to fix my garage. The technician was very friendly and apologetic and went the extra mile to show me some other things on my garage. The office manager also called me and spoke to me.at length. Mistakes happen, that's a part of life. Superior admitted theirs and made it right. I had to come back and give 5 stars for that. So many companies would have gone on , but not them. My garage door decided to break on a Sunday night and we didn't find out until we tried to leave for work Monday morning. The original springs on my garage door busted and I called Superior to have some one come out. They came out same day. When they arrived they had all the parts that they needed and were able to do a full rebuild if the door hardware. It was amazing and Brian and Cameron were fast and efficient. I don't think I've had as much courtesy, professionalism, efficiency, and satisfaction as I've had in the five days that I've dealt with Superior Overhead Garage Door Service: I contacted them on Monday, got an estimate on Tuesday, got installed on Thursday, and I'm STILL happy on Friday. Mick(sp) was kind on first contact with scheduling everything, and Chris didn't rush through the estimate; he listened to my concerns first, and then gave me several recommendations based upon my input and his experience. Richard and Cameron arrived later in the evening, but despite the fact that they HAD to already be tired, both of these gents were engaging and professional when putting up both of my new motors. They answered my questions and made sure that I was fully satisfied and completely understood all of the bells & whistles that come with the systems. Kris came out to our home over the weekend to replace a broken spring and he was extremely helpful. We have an older motor that he called a "work horse" that they don't make any more. To help minimize the potential of it being damaged, he provided us with a sure protector.He replaced the springs, shaft, bearings, track wheels, replaced a bracket that had a crack in it and then took another 15 minutes spraying down the various joints and giving us some maintenance tips. We have had two appointments with Super Overhead Garage Doors, both of which we have been pleased with. The first time Chris and a nice woman (whose name we unfortunately did not catch) came and helped us install new springs and rollers, which made our door work again and also become more quiet. A few months later when we were experiencing some issues with the garage door having closing down all the way we gave Superior Overhead Garage Doors a call. Just like the last time we did business with them, we were able to receive an early appointment. This time Mark and Kevin came and very quickly diagnosed the issue as being misaligned sensors. They gave us a rundown on the importance of clearing the sensors' paths as well as maintenance tips for the door in general. They also stapled two loose wires into the wall. I had an emergency call on a Saturday afternoon because one of the springs on my garage door had broken and my car was inside. Within 30 minutes, Chris appeared at my door to see what the problem was....needless to say, they performed a 25-point Safety Check and told me what I needed.
