The service was great! As for the shrimp & grits, the taste of the shrimp was good, and the taste of the grits was good, but there was no sauce or "gravy" to tie it together.

First time coming here with my friends for the end of the year brunch. We were seated at about 1:30p they brought us some water and they then ask us what we wanted to drink. We all had Mimosas and the Capri which was really good. Then waiter told us about the omelette of the day and took our order down. We started eating about 2:00p and everyone mostly had the omelette of the day and the kids had tenders & my other friend tried the sun in my belly omelette I believe and the French toast. Everyone loved it including myself. It was a great experience and I enjoyed myself. The parking I didn't like so much as it is very slim trying to park and it's not a lot of parking. You might have to park on the street if it's packed. Other than that it was nice. More...

I came here for brunch with my friends.  The host was not at his stand as we walked in but he came shortly after. He greeted us, and took us to the table where my friends were sitting.  We had a party of nine, which included my two children.  The waiter was pleasant and informative.  (We had a lot of questions). I informed him of an allergy and the manager came to speak with me.  Unfortunately, my daughter could not get the chicken tenders that she wanted because they couldn't promise cross contamination because of a catering business.  I wish that could be changed in the future.  She had scrambled eggs, chicken sausage, and cheese grits. She said that the eggs were a little salty. My other daughter had the chicken tenders kids meal and she enjoyed. She said that she wished they had ranch dipping sauce. I ordered the omlette of the day which was a spinach, salmon, capers, and a cheese that I've never had before. The creamy cheese is definitely an acquired taste. I also had a poinsettia mimosa (orange/cranberry juice and champagne). Overall everyone enjoyed their meal. It was a great atmosphere and I would return.  I just wished the parking situation was better. More...

Awsome food and amazingly good service. Definitely recommend the Belly Benedict. The best part is the prices were not bad at all !!

Parking:There's a tiny little parking lot of the backside of the restaurant. There's also a few street spots directly in front of the restaurant. You're lucky if you get any of those. Your best bet is parking in a surrounding neighborhood and walking to the restaurant.Food & Pricing:The Pricing is pretty comparable to what you might see in the city. The menu is small, but it has just enough to have you debate on what to get. I ordered the The Belly Benedict (only served on Weekends) and I'm so glad that I did. This meal was far from basic, and because of it, I'm going to say that this is one of the best brunch meals that I've had in the city. The seasoning on the sweet potatoes were just right, and the jelly that came with the biscuit was so good. If you couldn't tell I'm all for good sauces, seasoning and toppings, and they were all perfectly arranged on The Belly Benedict. Pro tip: If you're with a group and want to try one of their popular french toast meals, go ahead and order one and split it with the table. Our table opted for the Savory French Toast. It was a great choice, and this was key especially  because none of us wanted just French Toast to be our main item.I left the meal completely full after splitting the Savory French Toast and eating my own meal. I even had leftovers!Service & Atmosphere:This place was great. There was no wait, even though we went on the weekend during peak brunch hours. The inside is on the small side but it felt cozy, like I was at my friends house just chilling. They had a little sofa area with a movie playing, as well as board games too.The waiter offered us insight on the popular menu items and answered all of our questions. She was also very timely. Overall:It's a nice little gem to stop by and check out if you're close to East Atlanta. It's close to the city but it's far away enough that you might just avoid the brunch crowd that seems to form at every other brunch spot. Oh and you'll get a good meal out of it too! More...

On a road trip to North Georgia from Miami, we stopped here. They were very accommodating to our family of 5 and our pooch. Our food came out quicker then expected for a Saturday brunch time. We had an issue with one of our meals and management took care of it immediately and really exceeded our expectations. The belly Benedict was very flavorful and fresh! The staff and our server were all very polite. We will definitely be back! More...

Decided to come here on a Sunday afternoon with friends, and left with no regrets. Ordered a table order of the Sweet French toast and a PBLT. My friends ordered the Belly Benedict and Allison's Pimento Cheese Omelette. All were very delicious and savory, but I believe the PBLT with the fried egg took the cake. I added some chipotle Hollandaise sauce to the sandwich, which really let it take off. The omelette was initially a little cold, but the second order was much better allowing the cheese to seep out. The belly Benedict had the sweet potatoes cooked very well. The lavender biscuit was not worth the hype to me. It was truly just a scratch made biscuit, but the butter and jam were good compliments. All in all, I would return. The atmosphere is nice and great for a Sunday. More...

Omg! I had the "Savory French toast." I'm just tryna figure out how I've lived in Atlanta since 2005 and I've never heard of this place before. The food was absolutely amazing. My homegirl who is a flight attendant came in town on a Saturday and we visited. I absolutely cannot wait to get back there! P.S. 4 stars is not bad in my book. This establishment received one because it was a little too hot in the restaurant. Like, a lot of cooking and no AC kinda hot. Awesome spot!! More...

I love this place. It's so cute & cozy. The food is delicious, I especially love the lavender biscuits. The first time i visited I had the belly benedict (only available on sat & sun), by far one of the best brunch meals i've ever eaten. The last time i went it was a weekday so i decided to try something else. They recently changed the shrimp & grits from a bbq based dish to a more cajun flavor & it was soooo good. I also had a mimosa, I can't remember the name of it right now but it has tequila in it, it was yummy. i also like their caprisun type drinks. great place.as everyone else has said the parking situation isn't great, but even on a busy saturday I was able to find a spot so don't stress it, the food is worth it. We would definitely recommend SIMB for your wedding caterer. We were impressed with their tasting and appreciated the foodie and artistic aspect of their food. They were very accommodating in being creative with changing small parts of their dishes to suit our preferences. They delivered on the day of and some of our guests said it was the best wedding food they’ve ever had. Definitely recommend the miso glazed salmon, mushroom ravioli, Parmesan mashed potatoes, assortment of roasted veggies (as many as possible, colors were beautiful) and pulled pork corn muffin apps. We wish they would streamline the communication before the wedding to one person. We had different discussions with many different people on their staff before the big day and everyone wasn’t always communicating with each other, so honestly the process was a little stressful for us. But the food was amazing on our big day, which was a priority for our wedding, and we heard great things about their staff, especially the fun bartenders. We would highly recommend them! More...

This seemed like the type of brunch place that is busy and popular, so maybe not so ideal to drag a couple of kids into. ...man, was I wrong!!! The culture of the staff was patient and accommodating! Welcomed even with a stroller (thankfully because we walked from a nearby parking lot with an infant and toddler)!! I LOVED the coffee bar easily accessible for customers waiting for a table!! My cappuccino was perfect and made the wait more delightful. I great expectations of this place because I heard such great things about it, but I was disappointed. First of all,  when I put my name on the wait list, they never called my name. I was skipped, so that was frustrating. I ordered the Savory Challah French toast with mushroom beschemel sauce & spinach and fried egg on top. The French toast was so thick, way too much bread and there wasn't very sauce at all. And the fried egg was overcooked. My friend got scrambled eggs which were delicious but her bacon was undercooked & not crispy at all. The customer service was also not very good. The waiter didn't really check on us.So overall, Was very disappointed. More...
