Every time I come in to Sullivans I am greeted welcomefully & without hesitation. They ask my name & look up my reservation. Thank you Sullivan’s Steakhouse for providing quality food & service. Only reason I didn’t rate an overall 5 stars is because there wasn’t a coat check. Which means, everyone has their nice coats hanging on the back of chairs and crowds the pathways.

This was a first for all of us. We knew going into the meal that it would be expensive but we prepared. My dinner was fantastic, although I would have expected more food on the plate for a meal that costs $43. I was rather disappointed that I didn’t see a wine selection on the website nor was one presented at the restaurant. For a single glass to cost $23 is ridiculous since my mixed drink cost less. Our server Sebastian was so professional and accommodating. We have a few food allergies and he was right on it to make sure our order was correct. Went here for dinner on Thursday 12/19 with the parents (4) in the party. Our server was Morgan, he really knew how to be a great server! After being seated we were asked if we wanted anything to drink other then water, asked to give us just a minute & he came back to take our order! Gave us a few minutes to check on us to see about appetizers then brought out the tray of different cuts of meat if we wanted to upgrade & explained the difference between them(we knew-but let him explain) & he knew his cuts of steaks! Service was problematic as we were told by 3 different people at three different times they would bring bread to the table. Finally a fourth person brought some bread about 20 minutes after being seated. We specifically ordered an appetizer when we were handed our menu and before we ordered salads and main course. The salads were brought to the table right before the appetizer arrived which was about 15 minutes after the appetizer was ordered. The server took the salads back and returned with them about 12-15 minutes later. The rest of the meal went acceptably with little fanfare. Finally when leaving I went to retrieve our checked coats and after about 8-9 minutes was asked to come into the cloak room to identify our coats because the copy of the claim check “secured” to the hanger had been removed or lost.It has been about 3 years since we ate dinner at Sullivan’s and after the most recent experience it will be some time if ever we visit there again. Terry was a great and dedicated professional that was our waiter. He forgot to put in our appetizers and was so apologetic and without asking made it right by getting our order in fast and comp'ing our appetizers and wine (thanks! !). Probably the best night out you could ask for, not only because of the food, but the service and atmosphere were excellent. I was promptly seated and served and all my food came out fantastically. My boyfriend and I always come here at least once a month. For special occasions, this place is the best choice. We've gone to other restaurants before, but none can compare, we are always coming back here, the atmosphere is warm, the waitresses are friendly and attentive, my favourite dish is the lobster bisque, and rib-eye to my boyfriend, it's always fresh and perfectly cooked, we'll be back again.

Wonderful experience!! I used their online app Doordash to place a to go order to my hotel. I ordered the Rack of Lamb well done, requested no sauce and packets of salt and pepper. Check out was easy - choices were through Google or Facebook - I used Google (I have an account). They let you add a tip - my total was $47.25 for the Lamb, $5.20 taxes, free delivery and I added a $9 tip. Total $61.45 and let me tell you it was worth every bit! Delivery was prompt, the Dasher was courteous, and the food was AMAZING!! Exactly as ordered - well done no sauce with packets of salt and pepper. Seared tender juicy cooked to perfection!! It was hot on arrival - I took a photo after it had cooled a bit and - Sorry! - after I devoured most of it! The only thing I would suggest is adding paypal as an additional payment option, just a thought!Sullivans, Thanks so much for a superb dining experience, I will definitely be ordering from you on future trips to Anchorage!
