I asked Sugar Shack Bakery if they could make a custom cake for my girlfriend's birthday, and she was able to fulfill the order. It was a Matilda style cake - Chocolate fudgy ganache mousse cake. Please read the full story... We travelled from Madison, Wisconsin to Lakeville, Indiana with a signature cake to celebrate our daughter's first birthday with our friends. All bakeries in Lakeville were running busy so we had to buy the cake from Madison itself. Unfortunately our cake did not survive by the time we reached Lakeville. We were so disappointed and nervous that we would have to settle with some basic cake. However, we gave it a try and called up all the bakeries around and only Sugar Shack Bakery listened to our sad story. Stephanie at this bakery was so kind that she offered to make a cake for us even though she was closing in about 3 hours. And cherry on the cake was, she offered to make the exact same cake that we spoiled during our travel. We sent her the picture of the original cake and she made a new cake in just 4 hours for us. I can never thank her enough for this wonderful service.
