Working with Jessica was a great experience. She was very professional, had a cake tasting with lots of options to choose from. Her contract was easy to read and we were able to esign documents and pay online. Her web site has chat capabilities and Jessica was quick to respond to any request or concerns we had. I’m told that the Cake can be the most difficult part of Wedding Plans that was not our experience. Now let’s talk about the Cake. AMAZING! It was exactly what we asked for. Delivered on time all the correct colors we did a pastel Ambre turquoise to pale yellow with star fish,sand dollars and sugar sand. The flavors were Orange and Banana with cream cheese between layers. Everything about this cake was perfect. The small cake you see in the photo was a Gluten Free cake made especially for our 6 year old Granddaughter who has Celiacs Disease. She was thrilled to have a decorated cake just for her instead of the old cup cake she usually gets. As you can see Jessica took as much time and pride with that cake as with ours. Look no further in looking for the perfect Wedding Cake! Jesse knew exactly what we were talking about when we asked for the layers to be off centered, DECORATED just the way we asked. Not only was it decorated so pretty, the TASTE was delicious. Another special thing, Storybook provided an EXTRA LAYER boxed separately for the Bride and Groom to save for their 1st Anniversary. (How sweet was that?!!!) Storybook also had to DELIVER it to Manteo, NC and still the PRICE including the delivery, was much better than getting in done locally. I absolutely loved how my wedding cake turned out! Jessica was great to work with and even with last minute detail changes from ud for our cake she was more than willing to work with us and I couldn't be happier! Jessica is so great to work with! She knew exactly what we wanted. We found out from the florist that the flowers i originally wanted for my cake was way to expensive but they collaborated and figured out flowers to substitute the other ones and it looked amazing! I user Storybook for my wedding and she was outstanding. I wanted d something a little different so I had cupcakes for my guest and a cake for my husband and I to share. Both were fantastic! Soft, moist and the flavors were dynamic. Since my husband and I got married on Memorial Day Weekend, we opted for a cookout in addition to our small reception and our guest were still raving about the cupcakes and the entire ceremony as a whole.

Storybook Bakery was by far a vendor who exceeded my expectations. My initial consultation felt personal and she did not rush us through but rather took the time to understand who I was as a bride and really latched on to my vision. She was able to read my mind (and piece together the mix of pictures and ideas I threw out to her) and put together a cackle that was exactly what I envisioned.

Throughout my research Storybook not only is the best value in the area but they also offer the most flexibility for that price. Everyone of my guests was amazed at all the different varieties that were so delicious.

I would work with this company again for sure, not only were they creative and a good price the owner is extremely organized and reliable. I didn't have to worry or think about my cake at all after it was in her hands, which as a bride having vendors you can count on and trust to do their job it brings a tremendous amount of relief. Storybook Bakery created the perfect cookies for my daughter's first birthday. The princess themed party was complete when guest enjoyed the yummy crown and #1 cookies. Did I mention they were gorgeous?!?! The attention to detail was far beyond what I ever expect and did not go unnoticed by our 75+ guest. We loved everything about our cake! Our main goal for our wedding was to use as many local "little guys" as possible. We found what we were looking for at Storybook Bakery. We loved the fact we could have up to three flavors at no extra charge. My favorite part was the inside if the cake. I love cake that has filling and boy does her cake have filling, three layers of filling!

Jennifer was easy to work with. I wanted to change the detail on the cake 3 weeks before our date and it was no problem!
