Had a great night at Stiltsville with my daughter & granddaughter. Kids menu was good to have. Our server was so sweet & helpful. The menu had so much to offer- snapper was fresh and cooked perfectly- stone crabs were sweet and delectable - so happy they were all cracked for us! I definitely would recommend this place. I have lived in South Beach for over 8 years and I love Stiltsville. The manager Frankie is always so nice, helpful, and attentive. The rest of the staff is great! We had Monica tonight and she was one of the best. I don't know why there are any bad reviews, I have never had a bad experience. The food is outstanding and their happy hour is the best! First time here after hearing so many good reviews on this spot did not disappoint. Service was top notch, Sarah took great care of us, food came out fast. IT WAS DELICIOUS. Fantastic fish restaurant! The food was delicious and fresh, I highly recommend the smokey and hearty "Shrimp & Grits" dish (picture included). Only downsides are that the wait staff seem somewhat inexperienced and therefore come across a little unpolished and casual, especially when we notified them of two lipstick-stained glasses at our table. Not a big deal, but also just doesn't match the high standard of the restaurant as a whole. We hadn't been to Stiltsville in awhile, but we're really glad we headed back! Not only is the food as great as it was during our prior experiences, but also the hospitality has been taken a few notches up! The relatively new (but seasoned) general manager, Ana, is such a welcome addition! She has clear, calming oversight on all that happens at Stiltsville, graciously checks in on her guests, and appears to have amazing rapport with her team. My husband and I love coming to Stiltsville. The staff always recognize us and welcome our golden retriever.  Food is consistently excellent.  We love the ceviche, fish dip, and of course the FRIED CHICKEN is THE BEST!!!!! Desserts are always so good as well but we wish the pastry chef would bring back the Meyer lemon flourless cake or put the tres leches cake on the menu.  We tried the latter on Mother's Day special menu and it was divine.  We had to order a second one.  Stiltsville is a GEM! Our favorite spot in south beach! Love this place! My husband and I are regulars here and locals we have been coming here for years! !!!  at least 2-3 x a month. Fish is always fresh and excellent. FRIED CHICKEN IS TO DIE FOR! Best fried chicken you will ever have ! Cocktails are also amazing. Have never been disappointed. JUSTIN is definitely THE best waiter at Stilts. Ask for him if you go there. He is extremely attentive. Touches the table constantly and makes sure your food and drinks are always good. He even is always very accommodating to my 5 year old! (YES THIS PLACE IS KID FRIENDLY!) only thing is you will NEVER EVER see the owners Chef Janine or her husband there even though they promote themselves heavily there at stilts they never are. Would be nice to see the owners show face and care about their customers once in awhile. Also side comment - might not be relevant - but it would be nice if they paid attention to their loyal, REGULAR customers more as well. This place is delicious. The flavors of the food were unique and nicely blalanced. We didn't get a dish we did not like. I had the shrimp and grits( i am from  New Orleans) and it was done right! My boyfriend had the surf and turf burger which he loved.  We started with 3 appetizers the coconut shrimp, crab cake and smoked fish dip it would be hard to choose which was the best. We had the opportunity to finally go to Stiltsville and has such a great time. The atmosphere is very friendly and warm though it's a huge a spacious place. You are greeted with bathtubs filled with fresh fish if you'd like to chose your own meal. Or you can bring in your fresh catch and Kevin, the chef, will prepare it for youOur waiter, Justin, went out of his way to answer all of our many questions. The cocktails were fun - I had the cocktail with Appleton rum (my favorite) - it was tart and refreshing. The bartender, Erika, concocted something along the lines of my husband's request and it fit the bill.We started with the coconut shrimp, wrapped in kataife, not the usual overly sweet batter-friend coconut shrimp.  Delicious. The coconut is in the oil, an oil I really don't prefer. Nonetheless, the best thing on the menu.  My husband thoroughly enjoyed his tripletail - cooked to perfection, skin-on as he likes it. I had one of the daily specials, the yellow tuna. The serving was big enough to bring home for lunch. I had to try the Big Beans side dish, a favorite Greek dish. They are a meal in themselves. We were served the blondie dessert with banana ice cream. Beautiful indoor/outdoor restaurant towards South Beach in Miami. The restaurant was clean and the staff was super friendly. You could tell they have a passion for what they do. I think this is my favorite dinner spot in Miami. It has good ambiance (good music, nicely designed, not super casual and also not stuffy or too fancy), fresh fish, great service, and good sharing plates. It's not cheap but it's also not the most expensive restaurant in South Beach. Perfect for a nice date or for taking out the family. Took my girlfriend there for her 25th birthday and couldn't have been happier with the experience. From the moment we sat down and our amazing server Justin greeted us at the table we felt like we might have found one of our new favorite spots. By the end of the meal, that was confirmed. I went here during Miami Spice last year, and the shrimp and grits were nothing short of AMAZING. They were rich and creamy, the shrimp was perfectly seasoned with the an amazing tomato base to compliment the grits. I honestly still talk about it to date, and have yet to have a better plate. Unexpected and what a good time! The food is A.Mazing. The atmosphere is unassuming and welcoming. The service - will bring you back and make you a regular. Ever been to a place where you leave thinking - "they really like me"... This is it. And I think they really do. Everyone here seems to love their job, and they know how to treat people to a good time. We were celebrating a 50th birthday. Ladies were getting rowdy. By the end of the evening, multiple tables were singing together and laughing like old friends. Sometimes you want a snooty dinner to impress friends or for business. But, you should go here if you want someone to impress you.  The manger loves his customers, and the waiters just want you to have fun and great food. Seriously great food.
