Great, delicious, and fresh seafood! Definitely try the tackle box and get a little bit of everything! Fantastic flavor in the red snapper ceviche! Happy hour menu is also great! Really loved the crab cake sliders. Drinks also also pretty good, had the dark & stormy rum with ginger & coconut?! Great ambiance in the restaurant and a good place to just hang out with friends. Also dog friendly! More...
Great food! Service was a bit shotty but it was also NYE so understandable. Waiter was very accommodating after items we had ordered never arrived. Overall great experience.
Solid menu. Decent service. Delicious cocktails. All around nice meal
One of the more unique Fish Bars on the beach, with a local field.
Good server. Unfortunately, the wine list was limited to a few wines.
Stiltsville is always great! Frankie the manager, Monica, Justin and Mathew are great!!! Food is delicious.
Great place for a casual lunch, the freshest oysters, best fish dip and good draft beers, try the eponymous Stiltsville ale on tap
Had the best dinner here. Stone crab season and we had the best- came cracked & ready to eat for us. Wine was great and service was friendly and informative.
Great food and friendly staff...can't wait to go back!
Had a great night at Stiltsville with my daughter & granddaughter. Kids menu was good to have. Our server was so sweet & helpful. The menu had so much to offer- snapper was fresh and cooked perfectly- stone crabs were sweet and delectable - so happy they were all cracked for us! I definitely would recommend this place. The ambiance was lively and everyone appeared happy to be there. Right amount of noise to have a feeling of happiness had by all! More...
We love Stiltsville. Everything is fun, upbeat and delicious. The staff is inviting and knowledgeable. The food is fresh and unique. The vibe is young, hip and friendly. More...
Excellent dinner. Crab cakes were amazing and Grouper was just as good! The ambiance had a local vibe that we totally loved. Will definitely return on our next visit to Miami Beach. More...
I enjoyed the food service and ambience very much. We were a party of 7 and everyone had a positive experience. Justin was our server and he was awesome! I will be going back! ♥️
Food was amazing, they have an extensive list of gluten free options. Service was great and overall delicious we will be back here again on our next visit to Miami.
AMAZING. I was looking for a place in Miami that served whole fish and not only is that offered at Stiltsville but the quality and ingredients used in their dishes made me a very happy customer. I'll be coming back to Miami exclusively for this place...!!! More...
Will be sure to return to Miami because of this amazing, delish place. Customer service + amazing food + quality ingredients... all a woman can ask for!
I have lived in South Beach for over 8 years and I love Stiltsville. The manager Frankie is always so nice, helpful, and attentive. The rest of the staff is great! We had Monica tonight and she was one of the best. I don't know why there are any bad reviews, I have never had a bad experience. The food is outstanding and their happy hour is the best! I love when it's cool enough to have the garage doors opened! More...
First time here after hearing so many good reviews on this spot did not disappoint. Service was top notch, Sarah took great care of us, food came out fast. IT WAS DELICIOUS. We had the smoked fish dip, cobia tortadito, the fish sandwich, stone crab and finished it off with their blueberry crumble. Highly recommend if you're looking for some yummy seafood in Miami Beach! More...
Fantastic fish restaurant! The food was delicious and fresh, I highly recommend the smokey and hearty "Shrimp & Grits" dish (picture included). Only downsides are that the wait staff seem somewhat inexperienced and therefore come across a little unpolished and casual, especially when we notified them of two lipstick-stained glasses at our table. Not a big deal, but also just doesn't match the high standard of the restaurant as a whole. Anyway, the restaurant manager (not sure the title) was extremely kind and thanked us when we were on our way out. Overall it was a nice experience and I will definitely be returning! More...
We hadn't been to Stiltsville in awhile, but we're really glad we headed back! Not only is the food as great as it was during our prior experiences, but also the hospitality has been taken a few notches up! The relatively new (but seasoned) general manager, Ana, is such a welcome addition! She has clear, calming oversight on all that happens at Stiltsville, graciously checks in on her guests, and appears to have amazing rapport with her team. Brad, the bartender, is very personable and whips up great drinks. We'll definitely be back!! More...
We happened upon Stilsville Fish Bar after doing a thorough google search for great places to eat. The food was AMAZING and the service was superior. Hector was our waiter and he was phenomenal. We will certainly be making this our regular go to place on our next visit to Miami. More...
Great food. Manager welcomed us and checked on us twice. Best scallop and pumpkin ravioli I have ever experienced. Mmmmm.

Amazing food! Loved everything and great service!
Great food great service really good prices
Everything we ordered was outstanding and the service was awesome! We will definitely be back!
My husband and I love coming to Stiltsville. The staff always recognize us and welcome our golden retriever. Food is consistently excellent. We love the ceviche, fish dip, and of course the FRIED CHICKEN is THE BEST!!!!! Desserts are always so good as well but we wish the pastry chef would bring back the Meyer lemon flourless cake or put the tres leches cake on the menu. We tried the latter on Mother's Day special menu and it was divine. We had to order a second one. Stiltsville is a GEM! More...
Fish dip is amazing and snapper grilled to perfection
Our favorite spot in south beach! Love this place! My husband and I are regulars here and locals we have been coming here for years! !!! at least 2-3 x a month. Fish is always fresh and excellent. FRIED CHICKEN IS TO DIE FOR! Best fried chicken you will ever have ! Cocktails are also amazing. Have never been disappointed. JUSTIN is definitely THE best waiter at Stilts. Ask for him if you go there. He is extremely attentive. Touches the table constantly and makes sure your food and drinks are always good. He even is always very accommodating to my 5 year old! (YES THIS PLACE IS KID FRIENDLY!) only thing is you will NEVER EVER see the owners Chef Janine or her husband there even though they promote themselves heavily there at stilts they never are. Would be nice to see the owners show face and care about their customers once in awhile. Also side comment - might not be relevant - but it would be nice if they paid attention to their loyal, REGULAR customers more as well. Again, the owners seem to be pretty absent to their regulars .... but nonetheless great food and great service from JUSTIN. Thanks! More...
This place is delicious. The flavors of the food were unique and nicely blalanced. We didn't get a dish we did not like. I had the shrimp and grits( i am from New Orleans) and it was done right! My boyfriend had the surf and turf burger which he loved. We started with 3 appetizers the coconut shrimp, crab cake and smoked fish dip it would be hard to choose which was the best. Would return for the food alone but the service was great also. Our server Justin knew the menu very well and guided us in our decisions. Very friendly staff all around. More...
We decide going there for lunch on Thanksgiving day since we were driving around the beach! I can't describe How Amazing the food and service was! I've been here before and always loved it but the menu for this day was extraordinary!! Very happy with Matthew service!! Congratulations to the Chef!! More...
Brilliant food with even better service. Brutta especially made our evening wonderful. Thank you from the girls from London.
FRESH fish, creative dishes, attentive service. Good value. Definitely will return
The “Big Fish” took great care of us. We went for happy hour and stayed thru dinner. Great fun and good!
We had the opportunity to finally go to Stiltsville and has such a great time. The atmosphere is very friendly and warm though it's a huge a spacious place. You are greeted with bathtubs filled with fresh fish if you'd like to chose your own meal. Or you can bring in your fresh catch and Kevin, the chef, will prepare it for youOur waiter, Justin, went out of his way to answer all of our many questions. The cocktails were fun - I had the cocktail with Appleton rum (my favorite) - it was tart and refreshing. The bartender, Erika, concocted something along the lines of my husband's request and it fit the bill.We started with the coconut shrimp, wrapped in kataife, not the usual overly sweet batter-friend coconut shrimp. Delicious. The coconut is in the oil, an oil I really don't prefer. Nonetheless, the best thing on the menu. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his tripletail - cooked to perfection, skin-on as he likes it. I had one of the daily specials, the yellow tuna. The serving was big enough to bring home for lunch. I had to try the Big Beans side dish, a favorite Greek dish. They are a meal in themselves. We were served the blondie dessert with banana ice cream. I've been off sweets for a while, so it was a bit too sweet - but that did not stop me from eating half of it!Stiltsville is a neighborhood place, we'll return. More...
Beautiful indoor/outdoor restaurant towards South Beach in Miami. The restaurant was clean and the staff was super friendly. You could tell they have a passion for what they do. We ordered the red snapper, coconut shrimp, and Churassxo steak. The food was delicious and everything with beautifully presented. Special shout out to Frankie for filleting our red snapper, it was worth the wait Monica was our server and she was awesome as well! More...
Really excellent food . Great happy hour .... crab cake sliders and fish dip . Crab salad was to die for ... would make the trip from Naples to eat here again !!
Food was delicious! Service was slow even though it wasn’t busy? We were neglected but everything else was fine.
Great food and service in a wonderful setting. Fantastic decor and friendly staff.
A place for those that enjoy exceptional quality and excellent service. Their love for local history and hospitality is ever present. Thank you Mr. Justin for taking great care of our group last night. Your recommendations were spot on from the wine, apps, meal and dessert. More...
I think this is my favorite dinner spot in Miami. It has good ambiance (good music, nicely designed, not super casual and also not stuffy or too fancy), fresh fish, great service, and good sharing plates. It's not cheap but it's also not the most expensive restaurant in South Beach. Perfect for a nice date or for taking out the family. Loved the fish dip, crab salad, crab cake (which was YUM unexpectedly sweet and savory, very good!), the fresh Snapper, fresh bass, everything is delicious! More...
The BEST Red Snapper I have ever eaten; staff attentive and friendly, Amazing !!!!
Took my girlfriend there for her 25th birthday and couldn't have been happier with the experience. From the moment we sat down and our amazing server Justin greeted us at the table we felt like we might have found one of our new favorite spots. By the end of the meal, that was confirmed. The food was delicious and fresh. The freshness cannot be overstated, as we were dining, whole fish were being carried to the kitchen through the dining area. The atmosphere is warm, the location is accessible, the staff is very friendly and attentive and the food is excellent, with some of the best seafood I have had in Miami. More...
First time here, It was recommended by friends. Very cool setting with delicious and innovative food! Everything we had was amazing. Our server was friendly and helpful in navigating the menu for the first time. I definitely will come back! More...
This place was fantastic. Did brunch on a rainy Saturday. Ordered 2 king crab claws to start, we each had a Benedict (bacon & lobster), the coconut shrimp and a couple bloody Mary's with a nice Bloody Mary bar. Our server Justin was one of the best we've ever had...great recommendations, super attentive but not overbearing. We will definitely be back when in town next time. More...

I went here during Miami Spice last year, and the shrimp and grits were nothing short of AMAZING. They were rich and creamy, the shrimp was perfectly seasoned with the an amazing tomato base to compliment the grits. I honestly still talk about it to date, and have yet to have a better plate. The service was incredible, and it's a pretty intimate relatively new restaurant. More...
Unexpected and what a good time! The food is A.Mazing. The atmosphere is unassuming and welcoming. The service - will bring you back and make you a regular. Ever been to a place where you leave thinking - "they really like me"... This is it. And I think they really do. Everyone here seems to love their job, and they know how to treat people to a good time. We were celebrating a 50th birthday. Ladies were getting rowdy. By the end of the evening, multiple tables were singing together and laughing like old friends. Sometimes you want a snooty dinner to impress friends or for business. But, you should go here if you want someone to impress you. The manger loves his customers, and the waiters just want you to have fun and great food. Seriously great food. Justin is the waiter you want everywhere you go & we had a better time because of him. We can't say enough, except to promise - Stiltsville will make us come back to Miami and we can't wait to see you again!! - The rowdy ladies from Austin, TX. More...
Amazing seafood. Superb service. Overall extremely well executed.
Delightful staff and spectacular food. 1/2 price bottles of wine on Monday. The whole grilled Snapper was phenomenal. Would definitely return on our next visit to South Beach.
So service was good. Homemade chips were delicious. Whole fried snapper made a dramatic presentation but was rather bland. Fried chicken was delicious. The manager that chatted with us was a major asset. (He had dreads). On the downward slope; the menu we viewed online was different then the instore menu. That was a problem because one of our party does not eat seafood and the new menu offers only 1 non-seafood choice. More...
Food was OUT OF CONTROL good. Served by probably the most friendly/professional waiter I've ever encountered - JUSTIN. And the Manage - Matthew could not have been cooler. I highly recommend. I will be back and I will spread the word. Mike Gallic More...
Great dinning experience , Good food , Great waiter (Justin) We will definitely be back !!
Signature dish is definitely the Spoon Bread. The sea scallops were excellent and the food was very fresh. The setting emulates a old fish house on the water where the catch is right from the ocean. The prices are steep but easily overlooked once compared to the food quality. More...
One of the best restaurants in SOBE. We love the food and drinks here and the service is always great, I highly recommend SFB.
Our server, Hector, was phenomenal. From beginning to end, he made our dining experience the best we've had in Miami. He had excellent recommendations for food and things to do in the city. The meal was equally amazing. We will definitely return next time we're in the city. 10/10 More...
This unpretentious place serves up an excellent meal! We ordered a variety of items to sample from the Miami Spice menu and regular menu. Needless to say we ordered too much. We came at lunch when it just opened, so there was no one else there. But everything tasted so yummy! From the tapas of crab cakes, shrimp, tacos, dip, salad, to fish sandwich and burger. The only item that we were not a big fan of was the buffalo fish wings, but we didn't know it was bony fish wings. More...

GREAT service and DELICIOUS food.
I had had a blast here last night! The staff were extremely welcoming and the food was absolutely delicious. Definitely coming back soon. Fish wings: The BEST and most phenomenal dish I had tried here! This is a must try for anyone venturing into the restaurant. I licked off every morsel of meat (and sauce) off of the bone... It was that good! Oysters: Extremely fresh & went down like warm butter. Love the presentation of the tackle box, would try this item the next time that I'm here! Crabcakes: Extremely flaky & flavorful bits of heaven.Shrimp & grits: Very Very yummy, but for those pescatarians out there, the sauce is made out of veal so keep that in mind in case you order! Pan Roasted Grouper: Saved the roasted part till the end of my foodgasm (Talk about a win). The fish came apart with the fork, talk about cooked till perfection! Coconut Shrimp: Flaky, crunchy, & flavorful... My second favorite dish that was served! Our server Mateo(sp?) was really nice and always made sure we were okay with our drinks. Space was clean, other guests were enjoying their meals which adds to the nice ambiance & love the unique touch of the salt scrub in the bathroom!Side note: Their happy hour has amazing deals! Definitely recommend for anyone in the area to try out! More...
Outdoor dinning under the moon across from the water whole fried fish for two outstanding in every aspect...
Incredible seafood! Can't get enough of the smoked fish dip!!!!! Will be back the trip....
Awesome brunch experience! Creative menu and outstanding service.
Great staff and fantastic food in an relaxing atmosphere.
The atmosphere was great. The food amazing. You can definitely tell that they are masters of their craft. Great food, Friendly service and Awesome ambiance.
I went with a friend of mine as both of us had been before but it had been awhile. The food was very good as was the service. My only complaint is that sitting outside would have been nicer if there wasn’t a MIami Beach trolley stop in front of the restaurant. Has the owner tried to get that moved It’s a complete nuisance. It takes away from what was otherwise a very nice evening and experience. Please don’t overlook the surf and turf burger option! Excellent! Also, nice offering of 1/2 priced bottles of wine on Mondays. Very good wine list. High-end wines with a value price! More...
Amazing!!! From the moment we sat down at the bar till we paid our bill the service was incredible. The food was absolutely spectacular and we left there feeling great.
This was our first time and we enjoyed Stiltsville very much. The service was great - we were asked by several people on several occasions how things were going. The manager/host (?) was very friendly. We had the Spice menu and feel we got great value for it. The fish and grits were absolutely exquisite - a generous portion. The crispy fish was also delicious although, for my taste, a tiny bit on the dry side when you combine it with the green rise. Still very good. We also had the fish dip which was chunky and extraordinary. My husband said his oysters were also terrific. We had both the red velvet cake and the key lime. Both were good. We had an Italian white wine recommended by the host/manager (wish I could remember his name, he had a bun or maybe dreads). It was very delicious. The ambiance was boisterous and the decor is lovely. We sat inside. There are some seats outside which have a nice breeze but look right out onto the street. I look forward to going back for a special night out! More...
Great service from the gentleman from Ecuador! He recommend great dishes like the surf and turf burger and grilled snapper!
Went for Dinner on a Thursday night to Stiltsville. Instantly, the ambiance was more reserved and inviting than any other restaurant I've been to around the Purdy neighborhood. Our server, Justin, assisted us with some helpful food and drink recommendations that didn't just feel like he was suggesting the highest-priced items on the menu. The drinks were unique and complementary to the dishes and came out quickly. We tried the Smoked Fish Dip (A+), Buffalo Fish Wings (the perfect amount of heat) and the Sweet Corn Spoon Bread. The sweet corn was outstanding and I will definitely be back to try it again! Overall, this was a great spot in Miami Beach with a perfect vibe for any date night. More...
Always great food. Love the fish dip and crab cake. We had the catch of the day and the scallops. Both dishes were nicely prepared. The key lime pie is always a must. We enjoy sitting outside to see the sunset, but a table inside to view the sunset is possible too. They also have a Happy Hour with tasty bar bite selections and drinks. More...

Delicious food and superb service, the manager and two other gentlemen came to our table and make sure we are satisfied with our orders . Haven’t been to a restaurant with a service like this. The place has a lot of personality and the food was great from appetizer to entree. Their house beer was great as well. The dessert was the only lackluster moment.
Amazing food and even better service! Loved this restaurant and will be returning.
Stiltsville consistently delivers high quality food by an attentive staff. The fish is always fresh and turf dishes are well prepared. Although the kitchen has some problems getting dishes out to the servers on busy nights, the wait is well worth it. Another plus is there are no hassles finding public parking on the street. More...

Review # 1 Amazing. Bestie & I split the coconut shrimp App, he had the whitefish special and I got fried chicken. The fried chicken was sublime, perfectly brined for the Gods. The coconut Keylime pie was a whole new level of amazingTo our server, Justin, I hope you're reading this because we love you!PS try to salt scrub in the bathroom. I've literally never recommended anybody do that at a restaurant before but there you go you're welcome!Review #2 Apparently the second time was *not*. a charm. A repeat visit was nothing like the first. Our server was bored and disinterested. The oysters were not fresh. We didn't even bother ordering dessert. More...

Super food. Very delicous! perfect diner!
We went for Miami Spice dinner and the food was good and the service excellent. The portions wereBeyond adequate We also ordered the Tuesday oyster special and those were nicely prepared. Definitely a place to try.
The food at Stiltsville is consistently good. Their fried chicken (I know...this is a seafood restaurant) is the best I’ve ever had (beats Yardbird in my opinion). We also love their ceviche and the surf and turf burger. My only complaint is we wish the restaurant would put the meyer lemon cake that they used to have and the tres leches cake that they had on the Mother’s Day brunch on the regular menu. These are the two best desserts everrrrr. More...
Wonderful food, attentive service, loved the Miami spice menu. Will definitely return
the setting, the food & the staff are fabulous!
Server was attentive and engaging
I was a little nervous to try their Miami Spice menu due to some negative reviews but honestly it was so good! I forgot to take a pic of our appetizers but we order the Smoked Fish Dip, and Cobia Tiradito. All dishes were delicious! Everything tasted fresh. It's located, in what I feel, in the calm area of Miami Beach which is nice because there wasn't an issue finding parking last night. There's parking on the street and there's a parking lot right across from it. Place is cute. Customer service was nice. I'd definitely return. More...

Every Dish was Delicious, I had heard good things and we were not disappointed. We were a party of 18 and everyone loved their food!
Excellent service, Excellent Food, Excellent Ambiance.
Gorgeous food, great service thank you will recommend
Stiltsville rules!Came here on a Friday afternoon and stayed until early dinner... as time went by its ambiance became better and better. We sat by the bar area on high tops and people just kept coming in... happy hour seems to be popular here. They always have some local beers on tap and offer a variety of specialty cocktails. For dinner we tried their Miami spice menu which had so many good options. Appetizers like roasted oysters, Cobia tiradito (really good) as well as some salads. Entree was fish of the day (snapper) grilled served with a delicious coconut rice and a light mango salad. All very, very good. Desert was also nice and portions are big for Miami spice. Definitely a great place to come to wine and dine.Great ambiance and awesome food. Service was outstanding! More...

Good food and great service! A rarity at most south beach restaurants! Great neighborhood eatery!
All I can say is wow! The food was delicious, cooked well, and was brought out fast! We got the Spoon Bread, Oysters, and the Ceviche for our appetizers and they were delicious! For the main course we got a two pound Snapper fried to share and it was amazing!!! It was fried to perfection and paired with their Stiltsville beer made it great! I would for sure come back and eat here again if I ever re-visit Miami. The waitress was a little confused at our request for paper napkins and was slow at getting them but she was still good. Thanks to everyone for helping make our dinner delicious! More...
The restaurant had a great ambiance. Decorations were simple with extricate chandeliers. Inside had low lighting. There was outdoor and indoor seating. Our waiter was Justin and he provided amazing service. We made a reservation online and was seated promptly when we got there. Good service was slow (I'm assuming because everything is made fresh)- the manager came and acknowledged the wait time and apologized for it. I thought that was very considerate that he went around acknowledging that time frame it was taking to receiving our meals. The restaurant was busy & full on a Saturday evening. The food was amazing. My friends loved the oysters and I was Obsessed with the smoked fish dip. The pickles/onions and peppers gave the dip and extra kick. It didn't smell super fishy and it didn't taste super fishy either. I would definitely come back again an again for the dip. I got the coconut rice and grilled fish of the day. The fish was well cooked and tasted good. My friend definitely raves about the fish and grits & the surf & turf burger. Over all we had a great experience at this restaurant. The drinks also hit the spot and Justin took time to provide us recommendations based on our preferences. He was an amazing server. Love the food, ambiance & overall experience. Definitely would try this restaurant again. More...

I don't usually do restaurant reviews but was compelled to write this one because we had such a great experience at this place and because I'd seen several recent poor reviews that had me concerned before my visit last night. This place has been a favorite of mine for a while, but I had not been in several months. The food and service was always outstanding, but the recent negative reviews made me wonder if something had changed. Wrong. This place is as great as ever! Went for Miami Spice with a friend, and we both ordered the Surf and Turf Burger with housemade potato chips. It's a phenomenal burger and was cooked to perfection. Started with the famous fish dip, which I absolutely love, as well as the spoon bread. Dessert, we shared the coconut key lime and the warm blondie. Both were very good: I preferred the key lime while my friend preferred the blondie. Enjoyed a nice bottle of Pinot Bianco from Italy as well. The waitstaff was friendly and attentive. Food arrived timely and hot. The host was also very friendly and even took an interest in our wine selection, commenting that we'd made a great choice and that he is interested in trying this unique wine sometime soon as well. All in all, a great night at a great spot. If you're thinking of trying this place, don't let the recent negative reviews deter you. Sometimes even good places have an off night and mess up with a particular table, and some people will always find something that wasn't to their liking. Always good to keep in mind when reading these reviews. More...
Amazing food and amazing service! I would highly recommend the whole grilled red snapper and the coconut shrimp! Loved this place!!!
Stiltsvile exceeded my expectations. I loved their farm to table approach. Coming in I thought it was going to bee no different than every other "seafood" place, but with a nice location. Little did I know. Ioved everything on the Menu, and service was amazing. Our waitress Angie really knew what she was talking about, and had great recommendations, she was also very attentive. We tried "Finding Nico," such a good summer drink, very refreshing and the watermelon ice cubes which infused the drink topped it off. I had the glass and vine IPA which was light and fresh for an IPA. We visited during HH on a Wednesday, so took advantage of the bar bites on HH pricing. We had the fish dip, which Angie recommended, and it was amazing. It came well displayed with chips that were very crisp and cooked to order. We also had the surf and turf basket, which was really good. Had half dozen oysters which were very fresh, the only downside was that, they only had one selection of West coast oysters. LOVED the coconut oil scrub in the bathroom, so much that we ended up buying a jar. They also serve moist towels in a cute bathtub so you can clean your hands after the oysters. ITS ALL IN THE DETAILS! Their decor inside is super cute and detailed. Overall will be coming back here, loved my experience. More...

My favourite restaurant in Miami, I always ensure I take my out of town visitors and guests, I think everyone should experience the fish dip and the buffalo fish wingspread least once! ! Our visit last Monday evening didn't disappoint, the manager was great when our first choices were not available, the entire team were attentive and and created a good atmosphere. Also, worth noting the small details, I loved the music playlist and that sugar soap in the restrooms is everything! More...
Great happy hour! Lots of options, can do HH in or out. Totally worth the Uber ride from sobe. Quiet, mature and chill, no drama. Nice local beer selection.
Great place for lunch or dinner. The "big fish for two" is delicious!! Also great starters and salads! Hector was very nice, he help us with the menu and treated us very well!!!
Easily one of my favorite seafood restaurants in Miami. All of their food is local, fresh, and just tastes so good! Key menu items to try, coconut shrimp, spoon fed bread, grouper, and any specialty item on the menu is awesome. They have an awesome brunch as well as a dinner menu so be sure to check out both. The restaurant is in a nice- non touristy part of South Beach which makes it a quiet area, great for outdoor seating, and hopefully a slight view of the sunset for dinner. The hostess is amazing, general manager comes to speak to you, and the servers are on point. Definitely a great establishment that you are sure to enjoy! More...

Great food! I ordered the fish sandwich and it was fresh and delicious.
Great food and service. I had the blackened fish wrap and sweet corn spoon bread. Highly recommend. Aslo has the nicest bathroom decor I've seen in a while.
Extremely pleased and impressed..our impressive server was brilliant in her choices for us...the fried whole snapper and all else was an absolute delight!
yummy!! usually good service. food is good. not many vegetarian options. but I always order the sides, which I love!
Hector was amazing! Wonderful cocktails and happy hour!
Food was great over all and we would recommend it to anyone who loves fresh seafood and great fried chicken. Tackle box is a must. Shrimp were prefect and oysters great with the exception on a big shell in my wife's (no ones perfect).lobster and avocado salad was very good and the lobster was not over cooked like every other place you go. Ceviche was ok but nothing special. Smoked fish dip was a little on the salty side. Kind of felt like fancy chefs trying too hard to do a good old redneck dish. Now for the stars of the evening. Fried chicken and fish wings!!!!! So good. Fried chicken was brined and fried perfectly. So much flavor. Fish wings have just a small amount of meat on them, but have so much flavor. The only negative was the smashed potatoes need salt bad and there was none on the table. Big shout out to our server Justin. He did a great job More...
We highly recommend SFB, food was excellent and wait staff so personable, Monique took great care of us!!
Great food First time at Stiltsville Fish Bar and won’t be the last. Highly recommend... try the fish dip appetizer and the the grouper for entree. Drinks are amazing.
Great drinks & fried chicken!!!
We came to do paddleboard and decide to eat here. Place is beautiful decorated and food quality is amazing. We had avocado toast, coconut shrimos, crab krab loui and coleslaw. Everything was excelent. Service very good too. More...
What an incredible way to end a trip to Miami. Stiltsville Fish bar was an amazing place to dine! Our server, Justin was friendly from our first encounter, and he made sure we understood the complexities of the menu and offered help and guidance during our entire meal. We loved having him as our waiter! We began dinner with the Cobia Tradido, which was thinly sliced tuna with avocado, crispy hominy and popped corn, served with aji Amarillo, cilantro and lime. This dish was impeccable. It's hard to even describe the taste, since all the ingredients complemented each other so well. You have to take my word and TRY THIS DISH. Next we had Coconut Shrimp that they knocked out of the park. You can't go wrong! We continued dinner with Raw Bar Oysters and coconut fried rice- both delicious. The main course was a whole crispy snapper...and WOW. At first it came to us entirely full (head and all) and we asked for it to come as a fillet. Once it came back, it was gone so fast! It came with two sauces and paired together with the fish-they were dynamite :) On the side, we had the sweet corn spoon bread- please do yourself a favor and not leave this place without ordering this dish. It was melt in your mouth amazing. I can't wait to visit Miami again and come back. You will not be disappointed in the slightest if you decide to try! (Also, of note, ambiance is nice-casual, we showed up a little over dressed). More...
Probably the best meal this year or any year for that matter. The service was excellent, attentive and the server was really nice. The manager came to the table to make sure everything was good. This was equal to being at Joe's Stone Crabs. More...
Really good seafood place. We got the burger, the fish dip with crackers, the crab cakes, and dessert. The interior is pretty cool too. Overall great food at a restaurant that's understated More...

Love the creative menu!! Fried Grouper Wing was DELICIOUS! So is the fried bird! ❤️
Wonderful place open tables no reservations needed you get to pick your fresh caught snapper and choose to have it baked or fried. It was fantastic. The baked oysters were delicious and the fish wings were delicious. More...
Stiltsville lies in the cozy South Beach neighborhood of Sunset Harbor, and as their name would suggest, they specialize in seafood-centric dishes. My dining partner and I opted for the Miami Spice special; it was a fantastic value as we left extremely full and gave us a great opportunity to try a wide variety of dishes. Service certainly left something to be desired, and though the restaurant was busy, I think the dishes we ordered simply took more time too. Also, our poor waiter insisted that the bottle of wine we ordered was a corkscrew vs a screwtop despite our suggestions, so it was a little embarrassing watching him struggle with it. Alas, the chauvinistic, stubborn, you're wrong-I'm right, Miami way! The slower pace gave us plenty of time to catch up, so we were fine with it; however, it was an objectively a lengthy brunch at 2.5 hours. I've since been back and received much faster service at the bar, so I'm not sure if the service is just better or inconsistent. The food was well worth the wait though, so no complaints there! If you can wait, the spoonbread is not to be missed! I've also been for their weekday 5-7 PM happy hour, which is a totally different, albeit enjoyable vibe. The cocktails are delightful, and the appetizers ever so pleasing. With the garage doors open facing the sunset over the bay with a light breeze coming through the restaurant as you ogle gilded mermaids, how could someone have a bad time here? DM me for reasons please and thanks. More...
Stefanie was a great sever with awesome recs!
Hands down one of my total favorites in Miami !! From a delightful menu to a great atmosphere and impecable management is I think this place is a must in Miami Beach ! Or server Justin was amazing !!
Phenomenal happy hour food and drink specials. Little cute spot. Hidden gem to escape from Collins Ave craziness. Their fish wings are so unique and delicious. Fish dip top notch as well. We loved the hot sauce so much we bought 3 bottles. Great flavor and not extremely hot ! A very nice wait staff. Must visit! More...
Fun place in an off the beaten part of South Beach. Great crowd, delicious drinks and amazing food. Try all the veggie sides, innovative and wonderful.
Amazing food and exceptional service! Don't let the outdoor appearance discourage you! The inside is well decorated and very clean! The lighting at night is dim, but nice for the ambiance. More...
Coming from Seattle, we have high expectations for seafood. Stiltsville did not disappoint (in fact, Seattle could learn a thing or two). The mussels were some of the best I’ve had, and the grouper with tomato scampi was super tasty. Highly recommend. More...
Love this place. It's a hidden gem off the beaten path from the prevalent tourist traps that abound on SoBe. The food is fresh off the boat, and is creative, artfully presented, defrickenlicious, and there are plenty of craft cocktails for the perfect accompaniment. I always start with a J&T martini (ice cold and perfectly balanced, and for dinner, anything goes, it's ALL good. I always get the refreshing watermelon salad side (who knew pickles and watermelon were so delicious together?!?!) and it feels "healthy"...fruits and veggies together. The crudo is awesome, the fried chicken is award winning, and this last visit I had the deviled eggs (3 to a serving), and the CrabKrab Louie (crabs and "crab noodles" in a horseradish (but not spicy) sauce. It was weird and delicious and pretty satisfying. This place never disappoints. More...
Amazing. Bestie & I split the coconut shrimp App, he had the whitefish special and I got fried chicken. The fried chicken was sublime, perfectly brined for the Gods. The coconut Keylime pie was a whole new level of amazing. To our server, Justin, I hope you're reading this because we love you!PS try to salt scrub in the bathroom. I've literally never recommended anybody do that at a restaurant before but there you go you're welcome! More...
Fantastic fresh fish great drinks, awesome Atmosphere. Will be back sooner than later
Best restaurant I have been to in a while. We started with the spoon bread with lobster which had rave reviews. As soon as we put the spoon bread in our mouths we were in food heaven. We ordered the grouper which they had run out of so I ordered the swordfish. It was so so good. My friend was able to get the grouper because they had one more left and we definitely understood why it had sold out. The fish is fresh which makes it perfect. My best friend had the fried chicken and it was so good. I swear this was the best meal we had in Miami. Perfect end to our trip. More...
Senia is the best! The food and ambiance are the best!!! Real island atmosphere for Those of islan lovers
Walked past this place a few times finally got a chance to try it out. Food was so fresh and amazing but the service was even better. Justin and Stephanie was a perfect tag team. Very friendly, informative and just a great time in general. Can't wait to go again! More...
My bf wanted to come to this place after seeing a traveler's foodie ig post. We were definitely not disappointed. We were greeted and seated quickly. Our server Justin was very attentive and answered any silly questions we had. I didn't want anything too heavy so I opted for the fish dip and wood-grilled oysters. The fish dip was good but the oysters were HEAVENLY! They were cooked and seasoned to perfection! My bf doesn't really care for oysters because of the texture but he loved these! More...
We had an absolutely lovely time at this restaurant. Not only was the food delicious, but the service really went above and beyond. Justin, our waiter, made sure we were well attended to and taken care of all night, and really made our first night in Miami completely special. If I could give this restaurant more than 5 stars, I absolutely would!! Some of the best customer service and food selection I have had in a restaurant, and coming from San Francisco I consider this a great complement. Would recommend this restaurant to absolutely anyone! More...
Awesome food and great staff
Great service ,Good food, styles
This place is magic. Seafood based fine dining cuisine with a new american twist. The relaxed vibes with the indoor outdoor seating coupled with the funky ocean/surf motif is unmatchable. Show up for sunset so you can see the amazing sunsets at the yacht club across the street. Be sure to make the time to watch an old surf video at the bar and have one of the amazing CRAFT COCKTAILS. The bartenders are top notch and hysterical.Be sure to get the smoked fish dip. It is the perfect blend of briney, spicy, and smokey. The "fish wings" will blow your mind in terms of what is possible for the parts of the fish usually discarded. Top your night off with the pineapple upside-down cake. SIMPLY AMAZING! This will become your Miami go to! More...

Great food and amazing service
Great service and ambiance. Had the catch of the day and a few appetizers. Oysters, fish dip, and coconut shrimp were amazing! Definitely recommend the Dark & Stormy with a chance of snow drink! More...
Amazing fresh fish. The Grouper special was outstanding! I hope they keep it on the menu!
I visited this place for lunch during a weekday and found it delicious. The place was not crowded at all and although I had made reservations, there was not an issue to get seated if you didn't. It was 3 of us and we decided to order small plates to share along with the whole fried fish. We tried the fish dip and crabcakes. They were both delicious but I have to say that the crabcakes were my favorites. Ohhh the Fried fish was spectacular. No worries, they bring it whole but they cut it and serve it, right in front of you. For dessert we tried the chocolate cobbler and was pretty good as well.Definitely a place to try if you get a chance. Bon appetit!! More...
Stiltsville Fish Bar is located in Sunset Harbour and serves locally sourced seafood in a laid back setting.I've visited for brunch and dinner and I prefer Stiltsville for dinner. The service has always been great from the hostess to the servers. My go-to items are: sweet corn spoon bread (no lobster needed), roasted Apalachicola FL oyster in a canoe, shrimp n' grits.Happy Hour is on Weekdays 5pm-7pm and you can check out their menu online for deals in advance. I recommend you make a reservation on Opentable because Stiltsville gets crowded at peak times just like any other restaurant in the area.Great dinner spot for its decor and flavors! I'll be back! Great food, great service, fun atmosphere
Food, service and drinks were very good.
Justin was incredible! We loved the snapper and the spoonbread. He didn't lead us wrong in any part of the meal.
Absolutely Fantastic! The coconut shrimp was amazing , as well as the Shrimp & Grits. Also tried the butternut squash carbonara which was to die for. And let's not forget the amazing pineapple upside cake for desert! I will be going back to this hot spot every time I'm in Miami Beach! More...
Heaven on earth. Had brunch here yesterday. Every single staff member was so kind, welcoming, and attentive. best crab cake I've ever had. Lobster grapefruit bowl is what dreams are made of. Coastal vaca atmosphere on point. Will definitely be back next time I'm in Miami. More...
I will start by saying they have the best crab cakes imaginable. We found this place cause parking over on A1A was 60$ and we were just passing through. We opted to swing over to the inter coastal side and stumbled on this place. 4$ per hour parking nearby. Incredible food. Great service. More...
As an out of Towner coming from LA this place is everything one would want for a Miami Beach restaurant. Justin was our waiter and couldn't have been better. He knew everything about all menu items and made sure we were spoiled in our service. Couldn't recommend this place more. Perfect for a boozy brunch with $25 bottles of rosè. More...
We have been a huge fan of this place since it opened. The food is amazing! Atmosphere great. Staff great. But we are EXTREAMLY disappointed that they recently stopped serving the saltine crackers with their fish dip. They now serve it with crappy potato chips. They took the best dish on the menu and made it their worst!!! What's even worse is that they still have the amazing fish dip with crackers on their pictures. False advertising! We are torn between not coming back or bringing our own crackers for the fish dip. Whoever's idea it was to make this change should be fired. We know probably 20 local friends that feel exactly the same way. I just hope they don't ruin the rest of the amazing menu... More...
I've been to Stiltsville a few times now and have had great dinning experiences every time . Food is really good and the service is always friendly but may be lacking some attention to detail. However I still highly recommend coming here and I will definitely be back! My wife and I have had the smoked fish dip twice and it is really really good, I can't get enough of it and the Fresno chilies are with the pickled onions and pickles. Last time I had the burger and lobster, wife had a salad with perfectly cooked fish. This past time I had 1/2 chicken which was great! We also enjoyed the deserts. I would like to see a few more options on the entree's but Stiltsville is a great restaurant that we will continue to visit. More...
Very tasty salads and super fish
It was a lively night, and our server was so plainly overtaxed that we didn't see a specials menu or a cocktail menu until it was too late (alas, I'm still contemplating that "mai tai sharkbite" I couldn't order). But the food we did get was pretty good. Probably the best thing we ate was smoked fish dip, with a strong backbone of smoke and some fresh-fried potato chips. Though I do wonder ... was the fish dip that good, or am I just a sucker for this basic combination? The so-called coconut shrimp were also interesting, wrapped in a giant wispy crunchy coconut shell not unlike shredded wheat, but tastier. I'm not positive they were forth $4 per shrimp, but I still enjoyed eating them. The salads and sides weren't particularly special, but sometimes you want to eat vegetables. All told, this is worth an outing if you want to go someplace a little bit chef-y in South Beach, but there's nothing here I'll dream about later, other than that cocktail I couldn't get. More...
Found this place from the New York Times' recent article about 36 Hours in Miami Beach. Really excellent, fresh fish, creatively done. Had a member in our party who has Celiac and the waitress was really sensitive to this issue (and understood we did not just "prefer gluten-free"). Only complaint is that the high top tablets are accompanied by stools without a place to rest your feet. This significantly changes the comfort level. I am not sure I would return if these were the only seating options available for a return visit. More...
We loved our meal and the experience at Stiltsville Fish Bar - thank you for not being a spring break hot spot
We'd heard great things about this restaurant, and the first courses we tried were very good. But disappointed that the fish that we ordered requesting that no salt be added was barely edible it was so salty. I had the shrimp and grits, which was also salty (but it had sausage in it) which was very good but not outstanding. Might give it a second chance. More...
Great happy hour choices. Almost did not need dinner but we were glad to dine on striped bass and shrimp and grits. Frankie was a wonderful waiter. Don’t miss this NY Times cited restaurant! More...
We enjoyed our meal very much. One thing I'd love to see is a few more options for vegans - ones that are a little heartier, perhaps, which include protein? My daughter had a nice salad and a few of your sides, one which was marinated beans (I think they were fava beans, maybe?), but it would be great if there was at least one main dish, maybe, that was vegan ... something bean-based, or with tofu or with seitan, perhaps. I understand that your menu emphasis is on fish and seafood and the 5 of us at the table who eat fish/seafood had plenty of delightful choices, but it would be nice if there were more choices for those who follow a plant-based diet. Also, well, one other thing: my husband and I had been to Stiltsville before - 2x, I think, once with my parents - and the last time we were there - 6 months or so ago, I think, the menu had a nice feature that wasn't there on this past visit and which I missed: the menu used to offer a few varieties of fish and a few different sauces and you could choose your sauce and your fish. I thought that was a nice way to present the food choices and you don't seem to offer it anymore ... I missed it ... though, again, we had a lovely meal and will likely come to Stiltsville again. More...
Fun fresh fish!! Had the snapper served table side. Such a fun Instagram worth presentation!
Four of us went on a Monday (half price bottles of wine) night, at 7;30. Our meal was delicious. The shrimp and grits are divine here. I had the daily special which was black sea bass (tonight served with butternut squash puree, green beans, charred green onions), and I think it was the best combo I've enjoyed here out of the 5 or so times I've been here. They have a very nice wine list, so we enjoy coming on Monday night, when it's half price. Two minor setbacks... We have had a couple times where our first choice of wine is unavailable, but that's fine, as we can always find another. But we have also had a few entrees that they were out of. Now, to me, these are minor, but it is kind of a bummer if you have your heart set on something.Lastly, I would watch your credit card bill, as the last time we were here, the waiter added $2 to our already generous tip of 20%. We tried calling them, but they weren't open yet, and then we forgot to try again, so now I keep a lookout for this to happen again. Although our waiter was different tonight, my husband did spot the same waiter from last time still working here... Now, although that incident is unfortunate, we think the seafood here is great. We have not tried the burgers or other land animal choices here yet. I'd recommend coming and trying it out. The setting is lovely and the ambience is perfect "near sea side". More...
Oh my goodness the sweet corn spoon bread (added lobster on top) was to die for!! It was so good and I was not expecting it to like it as much as I did. The smoked fish dip was also delicious and of course the key lime pie. Excellent service and great atmosphere. They also had homemade hand scrub for guests to use in the bathroom (you could also purchase to being home). It was awesome. More...
Seriously the best experience I have had in a while! My gf and I went here by accident after The Standard's restaurant lost its power. But we should have seriously came here 1st! The service and quality of staff were unreal. Our waiter made amazing recommendations. We had some fine cocktails, the key lime pie, the smoked fish dip and the sweet corn spoon bread with added lobster. Those last two were heavenly items, idk who thought of them but they were amazing and executed to perfection. They even had handmade soap in the restrooms that you could purchase. If I lived in Miami I would be there everyday. Keep up the great work. More...

I also liked the sweet pickles on the lettuce wraps. More...
We absolutely loved this place. We came for pre-dinner drinks and an app. Everything from the atmosphere, service, and menu were top notch. The restaurant is energetic and hip. They have a fish counter where they display their catch on ice, it adds a cool and unique element to the trendy atmosphere. We sat at the bar in front of a friendly bartender who shakes up drink concoctions right in front of you. The cocktail menu is full of creative options that are beautifully presented. We ordered the spoon bread which was just decadent. Warm and gooey, served in a cast iron, and everything you want from corn bread but MORE. I will definitely be back to try more of the food. As an added bonus, my friend left something at the bar and we came back after closing and they were super friendly and let us back in to search around. Nothing but incredible service from start to finish! More...
