Stability Fitness is owned by Tom Stabile and is a private personal training studio. I train one on one or groups of 2 or 3 clients. I start each client with a fitness assessment consisting of a health history, flexibility, posture assessment, and body composition. Then I design a safe and effective exercise plan based on the assessment and client's goals.
I try to work on improving each client's muscle imbalances by foam rolling and stretching the overactive muscles and activating the deep inhibited core muscles of the body. I work on core stability and core strengthening as well as cardiovascular exercise. I create a fast pace circuit consisting of several different exercises while keeping you entertained as you complete your workout. I challenge each client to their appropriate fitness potential without over doing it. After each workout I manually stretch each client.
I will provide nutrition education while staying within my scope of practice. Lifestyle change is what I teach.
I have over 23 years experience and a masters in exercise physiology. Certified in ACSM Clinical Exercise Specialist, ACE Personal Trainer, and NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist.
I have been exercising since a youth and am 57 years old. I have made several mistakes in my early years and have the scars to prove it. I know what works and what doesn't.

What inspired you to start your own business?
I always wanted to own my own gym and help people exercise. I started a routine at 6 years old and never stopped exercising 51 years later.
My dad was on disability in his fifties because of heart disease. I tried coaching him as a kid. We walked and biking. He lived to 77.
I just love to workout. Heavy breathing is like fine music to me. I love learning how the body works and applying what I learn.
