Definitely a keeper !! A local sandwich store that has exceeded my expectations. Located in a dingy yet safe(thanks to Durham police office) strip mall in Durham, this food joint might come across as a place not worth stepping in. I bet you would feel otherwise when you leave.They have reasonable sandwich options and more than a couple of vegetarian options. Their signature focaccia bread is as soft a pillow. We ordered the Grilled tomato mozzarella sandwich and the pimento cheese sandwich with soup. The vegetable soup was bit too salty for our liking. However, both the sandwiches were delightful. Their sandwiches are spicy but if that is not enough for you.. There are hot sauces to spice it up. I have been eating here for years - since they opened. The food is always yummy and the service is friendly. The Black Pepper Turkey sandwich (on Focaccia with deep-fried jalapenos) is my favorite :)

Great sandwiches/wraps, wide variety. Ahi tuna sandwich is legit, blt on point, bahn mi delicious, slammy chicken is good--really can't go wrong with any option there. Can get crowded at lunch. Only thing lacking is the side dishes(I like their pasta and potato salads, fruit salad is pretty average, just wish they had more options for side dishes). Great veggie wraps and sides. Only 4 stars because it took me forever to reach them on the phone as they dont have call waiting and the voicemail box is full and the girl who answered the phone was very rude.

Love SGG! Ashlyn is fantastic! We eat here probably 2-4 times a month and food is always good. Good value for money. Sandwiches are inventive and interesting and if you have a suggestion, they take it on board and really appreciate the feedback. Great RTP lunch spot!

I totally LOVE this place! I work in RTP and we go here for lunch regularly, and everything is positively awesome!
The company I work for, PBM Graphics, provides lunch for us for meetings with customers, and it is always a bright spot if they have chosen to provide from Spicy Green! !!
I have picked up dinner (early, of course, according to the operating hours) to bring home a few times, and my husband loves the food I bring to him so much that he is planning on making the 45 mile drive up to have lunch with us here on his next day off! More...

I can't say enough how great this company is. The excellent service, quality, quantity and variety of food provided is above and beyond other companies. They cater for my National Guard unit, and it's obvious through their customer service and great food that they take pride in serving our food. In my entire military career have never seen my soldiers look forward to catered chow until we hired Spicy Green. It is difficult to describe how greatly a good meal can improve morale after hard training. It's a huge relief to know that no matter how hungry, tired, hot or cold we are, that we've got a good meal waiting on us. More...

This place is located in a brick strip mall off Miami Blvd and TW Alexander. It's rather busy during lunch, but parking is no problem. I had the Chicken Philly and it failed to impress. $12 for a half sandwich, chips and a drink is about what you can expect.
