Southern petals absolutely exceeded my expectations! I actually hired LouAnn as my florist and my day of coordinator and I couldn't have been happier with my decision! She definitely put so much time and effort to make my dreams become a reality with the most beautiful flower arrangements! Totally Pinterest worthy works of art! Very compassionate about her work, understanding of my budget, made my wedding day completely stress free, and was so easy to work with! She is the best! I would highly recommend her to anyone! Lou Ann and Southern Petals did an amazing job with the flowers for my July 16th wedding. I had met with 2 well-known and recommended florists in Durham before meeting her at a bridal show at the fairgrounds. She and her partner automatically came across as so genuine and so professional. My mom and I decided to make an appointment to meet them in Wake Forest. I'm so glad we did. They are amazing! I felt like I was talking with old friends. I was so impressed with their ideas and talent. My wedding was at Duke Chapel and the reception was at Croasdaile Country Club. Members of the club and our guests are still commenting on how beautiful the flowers, tables, and arrangements were. Some said they were the best they had ever seen at the country club. They made us a very reasonable quote and we were so happy with everything. They listened and made sure that what we envisioned was what we got. Thank you so much! When your florist has a broken pipe and her basement floods the night before not only your wedding but also another one the same day, that could have been a problem. Not the case. The bride and bridesmaids bouquets were delivered to the bridal suite and there were bridesmaids hair and makeup in disbelief how beautiful they were. Then we proceed to the meadow where there is an arbor done by the florist, no words and finally to the reception which was exactly as my daughter envisioned and beyond. I can’t imagine having a wedding and reception without the expertise of Lou Ann and Edy. My daughter-in-law, her mother, and I met with Southern Petals about two months before our large wedding. Lou Ann and Edy welcomed the challenge of providing us with beautiful, unique arrangements for our “I Do BBQ”, the church, and our reception. Lou Ann was the day of coordinator as well as the florist for my daughter's wedding in September 2016, at Cedar Grove Acres. We met several times during the course of planning. Each time she listened to what we wanted and made the necessary adjustments until we got everything on budget, all the while keeping my daughter's vision alive. The flowers were absolutely gorgeous! Every thing ran smoothly at the rehearsal and the wedding was perfect! My daughter wanted her guest to feel as though they had stepped back in time to a simpler life. We contracted Southern Petals to help us celebrate our daughter's wedding last summer. The photographs that we shared, as our "dream arrangements" were shadowed by the actual photographs from the wedding. The crispness of each petal, the vibrant colors of each flower, and the thoughtfully placed arrangement of every piece was breathtaking. Starting with the bridal bouquet, the men's boutonnières, and the myriad of vases and pots strategically placed throughout the venue were just spectacular. This work was beyond our dreams and expectation...yet was our reality on a very special day! Additionally, we hired them to be our Day Of Coordinator, which was so well appreciated. Southern Petals made my dream wedding come to life! First of all, my bouquet was out of this world, GORGEOUS...secondly, the large arrangements I had at my ceremony entrance were breathtaking. I had a big wedding (about 250 in attendance) and a HUGE wedding party, with 9 bridesmaids and groomsmen each, 3 Jr Bridesmaids and Groomsmen, and 4 flower girls. Each boutonniere, flower crown, bouquet, and centerpiece was beautiful down to every last detail.
