It's wonderful to have the YMCA located in Edgewater and for the most part everything is nice for an older facility. However some of the equipment should be replaced and unfortunately Edgewater seems to only get hand me down equipment when one of the other areas facilities get new.

This is a great place for the community. The pool is made so you can walk in gradually with out using a ladder or stairs. There are also fun features, a rain mushroom and a slide . The weight room has a good assortment of equipment. You can do both cardio and weight training. There are machines and free weights to use along with bikes, treadmills, and elliptical. I have driven to this Y about 3 times from Titusville Fl because they offer the best classes... and I have to defer from the previous review. .. I was treated really nice from the staff and have no complaints but wanting to live closer to make this my home YMCA! I really love your facility, staff and classes... you guys are awesome... Jarrett, the director has immeasurable talent and patience. He's educated and great with clients aging anywhere from 3-100. I feel comfortable being a member here because he is a well rounded supervisor and cares not only about the clients but the success of this establishment. I disagree with the comments below from the bottom of my heart. Maybe the reviewer's below had a poor experience with a former employee but that is not a reflection of this establishment. Meet Jarrett for a first hand view of a man with integrity and compassion for others and his work ethic. I grew up in Edgewater and was here before this building was ever built.
