For my birthday, I was surprised with a dozen of the vanilla bean cupcakes with vanilla swiss meringue multi icing. They were ah. Mazin!! I'm not usually a fan of meringue icing but the texture was the perfect consistency. And the actual cupcake?! Twas perfect. It was moist and didn't crumble when I separated it. I recently ordered the Oatmeal Creme Pie Cupcakes from Sophisticakes for my husband's birthday this past weekend. Can I just say that Shante did the damn thang with those cupcakes! They were so rich in flavor and moist and the cream-filling was a delightful surprise! Adding the piece of Oatmeal Creme Pie to the top of each cupcake gave a really nice touch as well and the icing was so good! You can tell that everything was made from scratch, no out-of-the-box or shortcuts used. I will definitely be ordering my birthday cupcakes from her in a few weeks and with all the decadent flavors and cupcake options she has, it's going to be a hard choice! More...

Let me tell you something about these cupcakes, you will be grabbing 2 or 3 of them at a time. I threw a gender reveal party for my best friend and Shante not only prepared us the most DELICIOUS chocolate cupcakes (with whipped cream icing and chocolate chips at the top), she made the presentation of the cupcakes flawless for the party. It really enhanced the elegance of the desert table. She can bake her butt off and her customer service skills are excellent!
