We first met Sonja when we were planning my daughters wedding. She was amazing from the start having now photographed their engagement, wedding, maternity, newborn, and cake smash. Also, my son and daughter in law have gone to Sonja for newborn and cake smash pictures. In March Sonja photographed 20 members of our family and just last month we traveled to Anchorage for Senior pictures for my son. I think it's safe to say that Sonja will be trully missed on the peninsula and welcomed back any time for mini sessions but that our loss is definetely Anchorage's gain. Every time I look at our wedding pictures I find a new favorite. Sonja truly captured the story of our day, I could not be happier with the final product. She is also incredibly easy to work with. When we decided to get married we knew it would have to be in downtown Anchorage, you know we had to pay homage to where we met, so I wanted a photographer who loved downtown as much as we did. Sonja is amazing! I cannot stop gushing over her dedication to her clients or the beautiful quality of photos we received. In our first meeting with Sonja we clicked. She is such a bright and vibrant soul. Her passion for her work, clients and downtown Anchorage can’t be matched. Our wedding was Memorial Day weekend 2018 and Sonja provided us with a phenomenal service. She is so down to earth, so easy to work with and has the patience of an saint because I know we were annoying lol! Her packages are reasonably priced and she was super flexible working with our budget and customizing our photo package to our needs. Her style is very editorial, clean and classic. I have been so happy with the photos I’ve received so far. She now offers her photo studio to brides, which can be added on to your packages. YOU MUST RENT HER STUDIO FOR YOUR GETTING READY PHOTOS!! It’s much nicer than a hotel, she has a gorgeous vanity set up, it’s very roomy, styles well with great furniture but most importantly is has the most beautiful abundance of natural light. Which makes for amazing photos, but even better selfies. I’m so glad I chose this add on over getting a hotel room downtown. First of all it’s cheaper than getting a hotel room because it has more than enough space for 12+ people; the space is divided. I got ready in the back room and my groom showed up later and got ready in the front room. It was perfect in every aspect. I have had many extremely talented professional photographers as friends and family, so I have learned to be very picky with my photographers and photos.
