While their Taco Tuesday options are limited, lucky for me, Al Pastor is on the list and its my favorite spot to hit up to fill that taco need at $1. 25 a taco. Their lengua is also amazing and even have tripas, make sure you order em crispy...soo good. Staff friendly. Salsa bar stacked. Homemade tortillas make a difference and I come regularly. Been here a few times in the past, but not lately. Came in tonight because I dropped some stuff off next door at Goodwill, so why not? Plus I know the guy who left the last review, and he made me jelly, haha!Food is always fresh and made to order which I love. You won't get anything that's been sitting under a heating lamp here! I've only ever had their surf n turf fries by recommendation from a friend, so tonight I opted for the burrito. Delish!! I also grabbed a hot cheeto burrito for my son who has a monstrous appetite. He finished the whole thing!! Normally he likes them from Sayulita's in San Diego, but this is the next best thing. He said this one was slightly spicier than Sayulita's, but still good.I want to try the mangorita here, but will have to do so when I actually have time to sit and enjoy one. Wish the place was a bit bigger. They took down the big menu that was on the wall, which was confusing, so I ordered from the to go menus sitting by the register.Overall, good prices and great food. We have eaten here several times before and I have to say that today was the absolute best I've ever had from here. We were assisted by Rosie the manager. She was awesome. We finally decided to try this place for lunch after driving by all the time. We normally go to another place in town with really good tacos and burritos and we're kind of skeptical to try a new place because we didn't want to be disappointed. I'm beyond happy we did!! This place is LEGIT. Authentic Mexican food made fresh with huge portion sizes. My husband and I ordered different assortments of tacos they offer and all were beyond good. Came here seeing the pictures that the tacos had guac and the michelada drinks. Arrived and place wasnt too busy, so we ordered our food and sat down while our food was made. First we got the nachos but we got carne asada nachos, and not as ordered the Al Pastor, the lady in front was nice and made us the correct order and offered us the wrong order to go (she asked andwe said yes). First time here and I will definitely be back. Â The food was great and the service was on point. Â Friendly staff and great food. ..what else could you want in a taco shop!!!! Â Rosie and Bonnie were our servers/cashier and they were happy and gave us service with a smile and the food was awesome so I asked Bonnie the cooks name and she told me it was Augustine.
