Sir Mean Sit has worked wonders on Luna (Greater Swiss Mountain Dog). We started Sit Means Sit in January and Luna is almost a completely different dog when it comes to obedience and walks. She use to pull so hard on walks and bark at any dog that walked by us on walks. She’s not a small girl so being able to control her was important to us. She doesn’t do that anymore! We can walk on the Katy Trail now without an issue. After the 2 week program we started attending their weekly group classes to maintain and learn new obedience commands. I don’t have anything bad to say about Sit Means Sit! They are wonderful! I highly recommend them for your pup if you’re thinking of starting training! More...

Sit Means Sit has been great for both my dog Ranger and I. I choose the 4 session boot camp for his training, they made it easy to coordinate schedules and follow up sessions. Working nights usually makes that difficult but the SMS team had no issues. The sessions were focused, organized, and as much about teaching me how to properly handle my dog as they were about training him. The weekly group classes are an added bonus especially for a dog that has some anxiety issues. I highly recommend SMS for the dog owner that wants to be involved in their pets training. Quality service all around from the SMS team. More...

Great training. I did the 10 day immersion training and waqs very pleased with the results. My only disappointment is the level of communication and follow up was poor. I think they should have a email with a checklist on what to bring/expect beforehand, and a follow up call during the training while your dog is away for 5 days. Other then that, the trainers are very pleasant and patient and I can tell they bonded well with my dog and my pup is much more obedient. I would recommend the immersion training if you do not have a lot of free time or travel a lot. More...

Sit Means Sit was the best thing I could have done for my dog.  For years I have been unable to enjoy my dog, especially when my dog took me for a walk when I wanted to spend quality time with him.  As a result, he stayed in the house or backyard, never leaving because he would not take any directions as the world revolved around him.  Several friends and family members took their dogs to this training with amazing results.  I thought I would give it a try as I did want to enjoy my dog and up to this point in his young life, there was not a lot of enjoyment going on.After two weeks of training - WOW!! My dog is in a great place now, fun to be around and I can take my dog for a walk now and lead him instead of he leading me!!  I take my dog out at least once a day and as I am getting my exercise and enjoyment, my dog is getting the same, right by my side, not wanting to stray off even when a rabbit runs by!!  This has been the most worthwhile investment I have made since obtaining my Weimaraner four years ago.  After two weeks of being home since the training concluded, my dog is now walking with me off-leash (something I never envisioned).  The staff was absolutely amazing and Carolyn is the best!!  Although everyone had a hand in Ki's training, Carolyn made him the dog he is today with the loving patience that she had with him.  During the weekly aftercare training, Ki just loves to see her!!  To all the staff of Sit Means Sit, thank you!!  You all are great and a pleasure to be with and around whenever we see you at training!! If every dog in the world were trained by Tim, we can all walk around with our dogs, leash free!  Sadly that isn't the case but if you have a dog then I highly recommend Sit Means Sit San Diego.  Tim encouraged me to become the leader and handle my dog with confidence.  I've had several different trainers for my German Shepherd Dog but Tim was the most effective and in the least amount of time.  Once we completed training, we attended group classes and I will have to admit that I was very nervous about it.  However, Tim and Dee were extremely cautious and aware of each dog and the interaction with the others.  I have complete confidence in them and have enjoyed the group classes.  One really great thing is when Jack sees Tim, he wants to run to him and greet him with much affection.  He doesn't react like that to all people  so I know Tim is a good guy.  The interaction between Tim and Jack is comforting.  As soon as Jack sees Tim, he pulls me in his direction and when Tim say, "Jacky!" then Jack goes wild with affection.  Thanks for taking care of my best friend! Exactly one year ago we brought home Bear a 4 month old black lab who although was crate trained and mostly house broken was poorly socialized. After 2 weeks we considered returning him to the breeder. Instead we decided to give Sit Means Sit one last shot at training Bear. The transformation was amazing. Mind you this was our third lab so we weren't rookie's. He was always very friendly but out of control. Now a year later  he is so well behaved we can't believe it. My dog is very reactive and needs the e-collar. Positive reinforcement didn't work and still doesn't.The e-collar keeps her in line while she goes through her puppy phase. Best dog trainer in Dallas! When we rescued our puppy Montana at 6 months old, she was a complete mess. She spooked at the slightest noise, pulled at the leash constantly, tried running away, refused to get in or out of the car, and she would bark or whine all the time. She hated strangers and other dogs, cowering even at the tiniest dogs. Her anxiety was horrible. We enrolled her in the day training class. When we picked her up after her first class, I could instantly notice a difference. She was so much calmer! She listened to commands and was friendly towards dogs and strangers. With every class we could see so much improvement. After four classes, Montana is a totally different dog! Anywhere we take her, we always get compliments on how calm and obedient she is. I think the biggest benefit is how confident she is, especially around strangers and new dogs! I also cannot emphasize how wonderful Eli and the Sit Means Sit staff are. They have a wealth of experience and a true passion for dog training. When we picked Montana up after each class, Eli would spend as much time as needed explaining to us how to reinforce the concepts she learned that day. He has the utmost patience and professionalism, as well as a great sense of humor! Now we take Montana to weekly (or biweekly) group classes, where she is continuing to learn advanced training (distance commands, ignoring distractions, etc). The group classes are organized, efficient, and FUN! If you are even considering Sit Means Sit, just do it! You will not regret it. I wholeheartedly recommend their program without any reservations!
