We recently had our rehearsal dinner at Silvertone in their function space 'Chez Freddie.' The entire experience, from beginning to end, was truly exceptional. Through our initial inquiry we were connected with Colleen Somers, Silvertone's General Manager, who was extremely responsive to all of our emails and questions. Colleen worked with us to craft a special menu for the party, and had two awesome team members (Nate & Zamira) present during the event to serve our guests. Silvertone created a cool cocktail atmosphere and the perfect dinner selection for us to enjoy with our family and friends. Definitely an event we'll remember for years to come. Cool place, nice location. Minute or two walking from the Quincy Market area so it's close but not crowded. Service was good. Food was pretty good. I had cajun salmon and felt it was a little bit lacking in flavor. Not a big deal though. And my wife loved her shepard's pie. Would definitely go again if I'm in the area. More...

OK had to edit this review... I go to Silvertone quite a bit because my job is directly across the street, I normally either get the steak tips or the salmon my go to meals, today I said let me try something else so I went with the quesadillas. ... let's just say I will go back to Silvertone BUT I will never order that again. they were just awful. I am a cheese lover by nature but when I say it had way to much cheese and not enough chicken, one of my pieces literally had 2 small pieces of chicken and rest cheese. Then I never had salsa that was made from only green, yellow and red peppers in my life (total waste). I tried to spruce it up with the sour cream and gauc didn't help/work. So after spending 19.26 although the online menu price said 14.00 I threw that away and left with eating just the guac for my lunch I will admit the quac is good. I just love Silvertone the portions are good and the food is delicious. I took my daughter here last week on a lunch date she got the mussles and the cajun shrimp pasta (she enjoyed it). I got the steak tips, mashed and greens. For the most part this is my go to meal and everytime no complaints. The best part is we both had left overs for dinner. More...

Innocuous exterior, good kitchen and service. We were in for lunch on the recommendation of one of the local shops over the weekend. My wife had the chowder and I had chicken quesadillas. The menu and the restaurant are simple and unpretentious, as others have noted. That said both of our meals were well prepared and the ingredients tasted fresh. Simple menu items are difficult to screw up, but also a challenge to do really well when you’re at a certain price point. This place make great drinks. Has an above average choice of liquor. **Alert** Best Buffalo Wings in Boston!!! (Imo) the blue cheese sauce is incredible **End Alert** seriously, that blue cheese sauce for the wings is amazing. They could give a bit more....but if they charge for Xtra it's worth it. Great food too. I didn't eat there tonight but everything I've had there in the past has been wicked good. (I tell you about the Buffalo Wings and Amazing sauce from memories past) go here.
