Our experience this morning at Silver was amazing! The staff were kind and respectful, specifically Leo, Renee and Rafael. I highly suggest starting off with a cocktail or a fresh squeezed juice. I got the What’s Up Doc and it was delicious! My husband and I also met the Kitchen Manager and he was awesome! He was knowledgeable about all of the food items and made some great recommendations. Very nice spot. I enjoyed the cute outdoor patio area in downtown Bethesda. The food was great and the atmosphere geared towards an upscale version of the famed Silver Diner. Favorite American comfort foods were met with posh twists. I will say the strawberry mimosa seemed to be lacking and took too much time to come to the table. However, everything else my table ordered was flawlessly done. Presentation was wonderful, staff was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. We had the best time at Silver. The atmosphere was perfect on a Wednesday evening. Very family oriented place with low levels of noise. We ordered from the kids menu the meatless meatballs and spaghetti and the mac and cheese. Both were really tasty. The low fat milkshakes were also a hit. We had the salmon salad and the beyond meat baja burger with fries. Both were also outstanding dishes but the vegan burger was perfect. This place is amazing. We were in Bethesda for a wedding and needed some good food before we headed out. I'm so glad we came here. We got chimichurri wings (DELICIOUS!!!!), salmon and avocado toast with tomato, radish, pomegranate seeds, queso fresco, and cilantro (sounds like a lot but it was perfectly balanced and soooo good), and the bison huevos rancheros (also amazing).A great selection of drinks, fresh juice, beers, local offers of coffee and the like. I wanted to try this place for a while and finally had a chance. The atmosphere is very nice and the staff is friendly. They have a lot of options for vegans and vegeterians as well.
