Heidi did my engagement photos in 2017 in California and boudoir photos in 2018 in Nevada and both were wonderful experiences! Both involved travel, and Heidi did a great job scouting locations in an unfamiliar area and both sessions turned out AMAZING. What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
I feel like a few different things are. Genuine moments, smiles and laughs, or something more intimate where you feel like I'm not even there can make a photograph great. Also equipment does make a difference, top of the line quality and editing is very important.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
The first thing I always ask is what dates you are wanting to book me. If I'm not available I don't want to waste your time but if you are flexible I would love to get something worked out. After that I questions that would pertain to the photoshoot for example if they want nature or building, how many family members, etc.
What do you love most about your job?
I love getting to meet new people. Also it is usually a special time to get to spend with the person. If its an engagement session or wedding how exciting that is for them and I get to be apart of it! Its so hard to leave at the end of a wedding day because I just spent the entire day with wonderful people
What inspired you to start your own business?
Ive always been a creative and artistic person. Art class was always my favorite to look forward to during my schools days. I started to dabble in photography in high school and loved it so much I went to college for it as well. I am so happy to say I have grown so much in my photography skills over the years and being the creative in control is what made me want to start my own business.

I should be chosen because I am so passionate about what I do. I really am a professional and not someone who just bought a camera and decided this was a good idea. I have high standards for the quality of images you receive back from me. I would love to meet you!
