Our 4th baby has been a terrible sleeper, and I was at my wit's end after 8 months of so little sleep. I started going to Dr. Shapiro during my pregnancy and returned after for discomfort in my hip and headaches. The headaches were a constant for me, having 3-4 per week. I finally broke down and got evaluated by Dr. Shapiro when I had one for a month straight with no break. I'm about halfway through the treatment plan (adjustments + rehab exercises) and am headache free!! Working with Dr. Dave Shapiro has been absolutely necessary for my sports performance. I'm competing in a weightlifting competition soon and wanted to improve my health on all angles. One of my first appointments with him came just in time when I hurt my back and in the middle of a work out. I came in barely able to move or even breathe comfortably and left his office feeling at least 70% better! Now, I see him 2-3 times a week and, immediately after our session, I feel less tension in my muscles and better energy. Crazy how that works, right? Bedside manner is terrific, only shadowed by his skill and understanding of the body. I can't stress how much I value these appointments.
