Shanyn has taken photos of my family a few times. I hired her and Nate for our April wedding in the woods!! I knew she was more light & airy editor but she went out of her normal and honored my request of dark & moody. She really out did herself and I am so inlove with all of my pictures! Im about to graduate from nursing school and wanted a shoot with my kids and me in my scrubs/cap and gown, to capture this huge accomplishment. I thought the shoot went terrible and after the shoot I was hoping for at least one good one. I have three young kids (3,4 and 6) and they were on a different level that day. With my third and last pregnancy I wanted ALL the photos! I wanted to remember the roundness of my belly and see that glow that everyone talks about. Shanyn was able to draw out elegance and allure I thought was lost because I was exhausted from taking care of my two other kiddos. I loved that she directed me on how to pose to really show off my bump. For our newborn and family photos she was efficient, working quickly to get amazing pictures of THREE kiddos that I will cherish forever. If you’re looking for the “wow factor” Shanyn is your girl! I found Shanyn on Facebook as I was new to the area. I just had my baby but did not have time to research a photographer prior to her being born which is usually standard for scheduling purposes. I contacted Shanyn and asked if we could schedule an appointment as soon as possible and explained our situation. We were lucky that Shanyn had an opening and was willing to allow us to come in to her new and gorgeous studio for an appointment. Let me share that chemistry and comfort is so important to having good photos! Shanyn is so patient (as a newborn session can take quite some time if the baby decides to wake and gets hungry during the session) and had the magic touch to calming our baby girl.
