Shakespeare Kids

Super fun, accessible, inclusive, and caring educational program. My kids have been doing Shakespeare with Rebekah for 9 years, and I cannot say enough good things.

We love Shakespeare Kids! The directors are local, working actors and are just fantastic. They allow the kids to be creative and a bit wild while maintaining a productive learning atmosphere. I appreciate that they perform actual Shakespeare plays, simplified but not "dumbed down". The kids memorize and really understand the Elizabethan English! My son and daughter (7 yrs and 10 yrs) especially love that they get creative impute into the set, costumes and props. The final performance is a culmination of the creative energy, hard work and collaborative efforts of the directors AND students. Though the focus is on the process rather than the performance, I'm always blown away by the final performance. Our family is so happy to have found this program and we will continue to be part of it for years to come. More...
