Katherine was so nice to work with! I bought a dress that was 2 sizes too big on top and then I lost weight so by the end of alterations Katherine managed to alter the top of my dress down 4 sizes! Looking at the dress you wouldn't have even been able to tell it was originally a size 16. I also had 7 bridesmaids that needed their dresses altered. Katherine was able to lengthen two of the dresses by using fabric from some of my other bridesmaid's dresses and all the dresses turned out perfect! She is very reasonably priced. She is absolutely fantastic. I got my dress super early and tried calling a few different places to find the right alteration fit for me. One woman told me I needed to get a bustier and my shoes for hemming before the first fitting! The first time I spoke with Katherine on the phone, she reassured me that that seemed ridiculous because no one even knew yet if my dress needed a bustier and suggested MULTIPLE options on hemming or not hemming the dress, which probably saved me hundreds. I had so much time that we were able to work slowly on the dress and get it right, but I am sure that even if I hadn't had that much time, the work she did would have come out perfect anyway. She was able to bring my specific dress from a 10 to a 4 (which I know now can't happen with all dresses because of the way the bust is originally designed). She's super sweet but also honest which is greatly appreciated seems as how she's the professional and I'm not. I can't wait to wear my dress on my wedding day! Katherine is wonderful! She suggested the perfect bustle for my dress and completed other minor alterations. I even lost a bead while carelessly taking off my dress and Katherine had another one and fixed it.
