Servpro NW & SW Monroe County

We want to give a shout out to Servpro NW & SW Monroe County because we couldn't have made it through these past five days without them. When you have your home flood with raw sewage, you literally have no idea what the protocol is to get this stuff out of your house and off your floors, walls, etc. ServPro came highly recommended from friends and family and also our insurance company, and with good reason. They were incredible! They walked us through every step of the process, were here at our home right away and started to handle the clean up and rip out of the rooms. They were also extremely understanding that I have an immune condition/treatment and need to be highly concerned about coming into contact with germs. We can't thank Jim and Justin and their team enough. When the unexpected happens, it is really nice to know you can have people by your side who want to help you get your life back in order. Jim and his team at ServPro far exceeded any expectations after our May fire. Jim was always hands on, immediately returning our phone calls or showing up in person. We had an elderly dog that we couldn’t find a place for quickly, therefore, when my husband decided to stay at home with our dog, his team swooped in, making our family room uber clean to reside in. They cleaned, scrubbed, brought in huge air filters and closed off the room so that it was safe for them to live and sleep here. Servpro saved the day for me! Came home, after being gone for a few weeks, to my dining room ceiling collapsed with pool of water on the hardwood floor. Gave Servpro a called at 8am and they responded by 9:30am (hour drive from their office). Justin and Josh were great! They were very professional, kind, explained everything in detail, and got all of the furniture out to start the drying process. Justin came back a few days later to evaluate how the drying process was going which was also a extremely good experience. They are actively working with my insurance company directly which took the burden of being the middle man off me. Pricing was more than fair. Fantastic is an UNDERSTATEMENT. I dealt with Joe Tomasso, who was great, responsive, and most importantly empathetic. He was straight to the point and never gave substandard advice as my trusted contractor agreed with him 100%. The office staff was friendly and helpful and able to schedule me appropriately. Long story short, I never received any work from this company due to the insurance and the high cost of out of pocket repairs that my basement incurred. Our Church basement was flooded near the end of last year and Serv Pro was there for us immediately. There demo crew did an excellent job of cleaning up the aftermath of the flood damage and saving what they could of our kitchen area. They worked with us hand in hand throughout the entire process. There was constant communication between Serv Pro and our church. We knew what ideas they had and they knew what we were thinking. There professionalism on the job was beyond expectations. What really impressed our church was Serv Pro assisted us in getting an additional $15,000 dollars from our insurance company. I had a basement flooded and called these guys after the fire department pumped it out. They had a crew on site within an hour or 2, a pile of guys that had the damaged belongings, 3 vans packed full, out the door within 4 hrs. They set up 3 monster dehumidifiers and 20 high powered fans and were out in 5 hours total. Because of them it went from disaster to smiles in no time at all. Last weekend I had a panicked call from my son who was home alone saying our basement was flooding. Upon arriving home, we found our that us and three of our neighbors had basements with sewage water in them. I called Servpro within minutes of arriving home. Jim called back within 10 minutes and said he was in route. Once he arrived he looked over our situation, made an assessment of what was needed. A crew was there within the next 30 minutes and they went about removing rugs and items that were wet, clearing out the excess water and sanitizing the floor and setting up fans and a dehumidifier. I cannot say enough about Jim, Justin and the rest of crew. They were so professional and understanding of how stressful this situation was for us. I immediately recommended them to our next door neighbors who took them up on their services. Justin was in touch over the next few days to see the progress of the basement and when they collected their equipment, they professionally cleaned the carpet that my husband had tracked on in our family room. Wow, wow, wow!! 8 stars! I don't usually write reviews, but have to express my gratitude to this company and their wonderful team. From the very first phone call (kudos to Sue who answered my panicked call)- these guys took great care of us. Owner, Jim Wandkte, his sons Justin and Josh, and their other terrific employees did an amazing job on the basement at my father's house. My 95-year-old father had a foot of water in his basement due to a broken pipe. The basement was huge, packed with junk and everything was water logged. Sue scheduled us quickly, they showed up exactly when she said they would, and got the job done. 5 guys did the work of 20 over two days, and the basement is feeling dry and cleaned out. These folks walk you through a horrible situation and are there for you every step of the way. We had a pipe break in our wall that damaged our kitchen and crawl space. Ultimately the kitchen had to be gutted, asbestos had to be remediated and the mold had to be removed and treated. Given that my husband and I did not have any idea how to deal with the scope of this project, we turned this over to their very capable hands. Jim went with us to choose everything from the cabinets to the flooring. The whole team is sensitive to your concerns and they are the calm in the middle of the storm. In times of emergencies and crisis, you may not always think as clearly as you normally would. When it impacts a business, its even more chaotic than normal. I called this location as a result of a Google search, and it was the first one I came across. You never know what kind of service you will get when you are just randomly calling. I really really lucked out that it was Jim Wandtke’s team. Jim was here within 30 minutes of my call. He was thorough and calm in reviewing and explaining the extent of the damage and making recommendations, even having already contacted partner companies to help us in areas that they were not specialized in (such as electronics). I have owned my current house for just over 2 years and had a major water leak from my upstairs bathroom sink that soaked 3 floors of walls, carpets, ceilings etc. I called my insurance company and they said SERVPRO would contact me within 2 hours... the owner called me in 15 min ! They were on site within 45 minutes with a crew of workers drying , cleaning , removing things for 4 hours. The leader of this team was Anthony Cruz , who made my life very easy. He told me they could handle everything from to finish and he was not kidding ! Anthony called or text me at least twice a day with updates and answers to my questions. I asked him the first night how long this major restoration would take and he said 4-6 weeks. It was completely finished in just over 4 … and I mean EVERYTHING was done. My house is like new and I didn't have to do anything. Anthony worked directly with my insurance adjuster and I just went about my everyday business. The employees were very friendly and efficient, and they did an awesome job! My carpets look fantastic! Justin and the rest of the guys came to our rescue, LITERALLY, in such a timely fashion, very polite, courteous and professional and they knew exactly what needed to be done! We had a fountain leak in our Cosmetology School and just about Niagara Falls right here in Rochester, NY! (Ok, I'm exaggerating slightly, but you get my drift, it was pretty bad). We have a ranch and just had a major leak from our washer that ended up impacting the whole back part of our home (about 5 rooms). Extremely professional and courteous: Servpro remediated and restored our fire damaged home. There was extensive smoke damage throughout the home and Servpro worked quickly to restore the home to as good or better condition than it had been before the fire. They even worked with the insurance company and came to an agreement on the cost and scope of the repair.
