Recently I had two photo-shoots with GoodHuman. Wow, now I understand the meaning of working with a professional photographer! Bausch Law Group is a personal injury law firm. Some time ago a friend of mine pointed out to me that the photos that we had on our site and social media profiles looked old, outdated and "cheep." That needed to be fixed! I ordered one photo-shoot of my office and the other one of me personally. I really genuinely like Sam. He's such a caring nice person and he did a great job making my husband I feel comfortable during the shoot. He took his time and made sure we had lots of different images to choose from. My husband needed a professional photo for linkedin and was very pleased. We needed some new pictures for the office team. We wanted something professional, but also something that was a little more interesting than the standard imagery I see on my competitors’ sites. Before we shot the pictures Sam and I had a great conversation about how, why and where we should create these photos and how they would be unique to our company, make us stand out, and show our personal touch. We ended up using a background that was personal to our brand, showing just enough of the office to allow our customers to see where we work, but out of focus enough to not distract from the subject. Sam (the owner) did a great job of listening to me about my business (I'm a realtor in young/hip/urban/DTLA environment) he created some images that work with that clientele, the clientele that I do most of my business with. Words can't describe the professionalism and results provided by Good Human on my shoot. Despite my selection of a challenging location, Sam was able to find the optimal light throughout the afternoon shoot, generating photographs that far exceeded my expectations. A good photographer not only listens to the needs of the client, but is able to translate that direction into superior results. Sam not only did that, but gently guided and directed my subjects to enhance the original concept. Chemistry is an important factor between photographer and subject. Sam has a friendly and affable nature to him, so he was able to make the shoot both creative and fun. He had a relaxed energy which didn't impede his high standards. Sam wasn't at all afraid to try things, to suggest things, to tweak things here and there, and if something wasn't working, he would quickly make that decision and move on to something that did. Good Human is amazing! My photographer was Sam and he's not only a wonderful photographer, but he's so fun to work with too. I needed some pictures for my website and I am so happy with the pictures and how they turned out. Sam was very professional.
