I really liked this place. We came in with a Groupon on a Friday night since we were in the neighborhood and looking for some drinks before dinner. It was pretty busy and smelled absolutely amazing - the source: GARLIC fries. We had to get some, along with our flight and two pints. The fries took a while to come out - a lot of people were waiting for food too - but we had a good time sipping our beers and watching the movie playing up on the wall. It was pretty quiet as far as breweries go - no super loud music. It was perfect for a chat with my partner and would be good to take older folks to as well. The fries were as delicious as they smelled. The portion was pretty big and came with great sauces - I love curry ketchup. The beers we tried were tasty. We both really liked the farmhouse ale and the saison. We will be back, when we find ourselves in the area! More...

Friendly staff and patrons...I don't drink beer so I can't comment on that here.  I do play Bingo there once a month have a great time and enjoy the company.  The German potato salad is wonderful, the Kale salad is as well, I found some of the other menu items too greasy for me to digest...I wish they would have something as simple as a turkey sandwich for us older folks who have developed more sensitive stomachs...If you are looking for a no-frills good down to earth establishment with friendly attentive staff (and good beer I hear) this is the place! Stopped by after noticing this place over the summer as I was driving by.  First thing I noticed was the back patio always seemed to be full in the summer.  I also notice there were a lot of people in there one night, standing room.  This made me curious to see what was hiding inside.  Sat down at the bar and had a nice hand-crafted dark beer.  It was exactly what I was looking for.  I had one the other day which I enjoyed as well.  I guess I'm on a dark beer kick.  I do like cider too but with the eight different brews they had created.  I'll have to come back for a sampler tray!  :)  Charlie "owner" was very professional and organized.  I quickly felt comfortable, it was a Wednesday night and they were doing a  trivia quiz game.  Normally that sort of thing probably would have annoyed me.  Tonight was fun, the beers were very good, and the questions were well written.  Often with a joke or two hiding I did laugh a lot about silly stuff I have not thought of in a long time.  Will return again soon.    I now need to go buy some lights like they had, loved the bulbs comfortable but not too dark.  They also had a section that would be good for small groups maybe a dozen or so, would be a cool meet-up place?  I think! Came here for the first time today. Michael, the bartender, was super friendly and knowledgeable and fun to chat with. I really liked their beers. My favorites were their dark saison and IPA. I liked their sour as well but preferred a slightly higher gravity and tart sour. The overall ambience was pretty chill and open. I liked the music, though it could be a bit loud at times.Their food was very good. I had a make-your-own bratwurst with added caramelized onions. The brat was perfectly cooked and juicy. Their curry ketchup was delightful and had good tomato flavor. I felt like I had too much relish and know to get it on the side in the future. Their warm German Potato Salad was super tasty with lots of visible mustard grains which I enjoy. I had a good time and look forward to coming back! More...

This review is long overdue. We'd been wanting to try this brewery, as it's down the street from our house. My husband's birthday was coming up and we thought it could be fun to see if they would allow us to reserve a few tables for our guests. We all have small children and had heard that it's a family-friendly spot. I emailed with the owner and inquired about reserving the tables on a Sunday afternoon, and he could not have been more accommodating. He gave us a private room and was absolutely fantastic to work with. We ordered a few apps and some larger plates, along with pitchers of beer. He even let us bring in our own toys for the kids! The beer is fantastic and the menu is really good. Options for everyone! At the end of the night (and after I was sure they were sick of us and our tiny terrorists, er, I mean Toddlers) we asked for some extra plates so we could serve some cake. Again, they were exceptionally accommodating and kind to us. I cannot recommend this place enough! We'll be back...a lot. More...
