It is complicated to start a project consisting of building your dream home. The architecture firm is crucial as they are the ones that make it happen in a timely fashion or not being at the inception of the project.
It has been refreshing to work with a firm that says that they do and do what they say. A firm that actually respond to emails, listen to your comments and take them into consideration. It is also refreshing to work with a firm that makes it feel effortless for you and such because they are on the top of things. All those reasons are why I recommend SDH Studio. Stephanie Halfen/SDH Studio designed our new Tropical Modern home, now under construction. She is extremely knowledgeable, imaginative and easy to work with. She is well versed in construction and was able to guide us on how much options we considered would cost. Her office is very well organized. All work done promptly. Our builder says the architectural drawings and plans are excellent and very thorough. We had no issues getting our permits approved. After an extensive search and interviewing multiple architects, we hired Stephanie for the architecture and interior design of our custom home.

We have been working with SDH from North Carolina. Stephanie and Cristina are talented, easy to work with and very reasonable in price. Although we like a contemporary look, we wanted something a little more farm/modern with contemporary elements. Stephanie seemed excited and ready for the challenge! She came straight away to NC to walk the lot and take pictures (this was all during Christmas vacation)! I am extremely picky so I definitely wasn’t her easiest client and not living in Fl made it somewhat challenging. Stephanie Halfen is an incredibly talented Architect and Interior Designer.
The minute we saw the cover of Florida Design's MIAMI Home and Decor (Spring/Summer 2015) we knew we would be working with her firm.
From our first meeting Stephanie understood what we were looking for and was able to translate it into a design that exceeded all our expectations.

We hired SDH studios to select and source out the finishing materials as well as improve interior distribution for a luxury spec home.
We were very pleased with their very professional work , they provided a booklet with detailed information that would help both the building contractor as well as the potential customers.
All of the finishing materials such as flooring, wall coverings, bathroom and lighting fixtures , doors , closets ,countertops and appliances amongst others were chosen with great taste and reasonable budget.
The changes suggested in the interior distribution were most functional and improved the appeal of the house considerably.
