If you want the best creamery of ice cream around and all the toppings you can imagine Scoops is the place to go. Though a bit pricey it's absolutely worth it. You can even watch how the ice cream is made, so get your camera ready for not only the show but the decor as well. while my son and I love going in the store to get a treat, I was very let down by all of the staff while trying to set up a catering event. I messaged, called, emailed and went into the store and NEVER even got a base price or a message returned. I spoke with the staff and the manager and all directed me to another person and couldn't or wouldn't give me more information. More...

I didn’t get his name but one of the employees went to the back to make sure the ice cream I wanted was egg free. So that was awesome! My daughter has Anaphylaxis towards eggs, so I avoid eating anything with egg in it around her. I love coming here for ice cream, try to come every few weeks. If you can't find a seat inside, then walk outside to the rocking chairs they have out front. I mean you are in the south, eating an ice cream cone on the front porch in a rocking chair.....Who doesn't love that As long as this place stays open, I will continue to come back. More...

This place on a Spring or Summer day when it isnt super busy in the square is a perfect little "get away" from the hustle and bustle. My work team and I came here and we were served really fast. The ice cream was really good and they have indoor and outdoor seating. It was a beautiful day so we sat on the chairs outside and just talked and laughed. I had the Sea Turtle on a chocolate dipped waffle cons which was delicious (if u love caramel this is for u). One of my coworkers had Pralines and the other Strawberry. This place is always active, and it's no wonder...it's light, bright, and filled with almost every treat available. The service is always fast and friendly. A friend from out of town put together a basket to send to her daughter at college. The manager helped assemble and package the goodies and the box arrived at the daughter's dorm within days. This place is located just along the Covington Square and is simply awesome. It seems to be popular with the locals as well. I was visiting and had a late Sunday lunch just across the square at Mystic Grill and we popped until to this spot for a quick, sweet treat. It also is a candy shop with a variety of candies and baked goods, including cookies. I had half peach cobbler and half butter pecan in one scoop and the combination was excellent. You can sit inside as well or outside in a nice yellow rocking chairs which overlook the square. We did that, and it was an amazing end to an amazing day and visit to Covington.
