What a great restaurant! I ordered a last minute 50 person catering order from them, and didnt realize how cute and quaint their little restaurant is as well, until I went to pick it up. The food is not only delicious, but the presentation is also beautiful! There were so many colors on the plate. I had the pleasure of working with both John and Nick in the pre planning stage, and they were both extremely helpful, reassuring and accommodating. Elijah was the chef on duty when I picked up the order who was also efficient, professional and really friendly. Should the topic arise in a future conversation regarding "I need a caterer" I will absolutely suggest Sausalido's as a go-to option. More...

Small intimate place with lots of character. Food is really good,and it is BYOB,which saves a lot in that area. Seasonal menu,so they don't always carry the same stuff all the time. Crab cakes with risotto were delicious. Would definitely return! More...

Staff were all very polite, food quality is great. Presentation of it could be worked on. It's not that expensive. They let you enjoy the food , instead of coming over every 5min to ask the same question. Would go back hands down. FYI best to make reservations. More...

Just got married this past weekend and used Sausalido's for our caterer at J Verno Studios. Nick, Erika and company were top notch. Due to an illness in the family I needed a caterer with less than a months notice and thankfully Nick was available. The setup of the venue and attention to detail was perfect and the food was out of this world. Everyone couldn't stop raving about it, Sausalido's earned 2 customers here and probably many others. Fall was in the air at Sausalido! We had an excellent dinner experience. Started off with a complimentary white bean dip appetizer that was served with a variety of breads, we all loved it. Then we ordered the smoked gouda and the meatballs to share, both were very flavorful and delicious. I chose the butternut squash ravioli for dinner and was very happy I did, It had a very savory combination of excellent flavors. Also, our waitress Katherine was very personable and very efficient.
