This review is for Bhumika Jackson. She is my go to person when i need my hair done. Her work ethic is professional and prices fair. She is knowledgeable and passionate in her field. As soon as i walk in she greets me with a smile and makes me feel just like home. She listens to my hair styles wants and makes recommendations suitable for my face and hair structure. I always trust her opinion and the outcome is always amazing! Ive never met anyone as passionate about what they do as her! She always mentions she constantly learning different techniques and taking courses to be up to date on the latest best hair products and styles for clients. She offers and wants nothing but the best of the best for her clients. And thats admirable trait. Shes a beautiful lady inside and out and happy to have her do my hair. Ive gone to others and no everyone can work with curly ethnic hair as i like to call it. Shes def a person who can take care of your hair if youre looking for someone to do ethnic hair specially in San Ramon. Thank you Bhumika for always being so sweet and welcoming. For always listening to my hair needs and giving me the results i love. I recently went in to get a balayage and cut for 2020 and received just that. Let me just say that the entire experience from start to finish was superb. The first time with a new hairdresser is usually stressful and you tend to sit on pins & needles, but none of that happened with BHUMIKA. She was insightful, understanding, and patient when we discussed where my hair had been and in what direction we would be going with it. The shampoo was relaxing and she really took her time. You had the confidence that she really knows what she is doing from start to finish. She asks the right questions, and went over every inch of my head as she familiarized herself with head shape and hair growth patterns. Afterward, I felt like a new woman when I looked in the mirror. This is my first time coming to Salon Murcel. After seeing lots of good reviews, I decided just walk ins to this place without an appointment to get a haircut. The lady in the front desk said that the available hair stylist today is Young. I immediately booked an appointment with her and come back at 12:30. Just got my haircut done by Young today. She's not only lived up to my expectation but went beyond to make sure I was completely happy with my hair style. I've never had a short hair cut before but decided to get subtle A line cut (short bob cuts) to keep my hair looking thicker & healthy. The layered and stacked at the back cut is easy to style, and it's very convenient for women with short straight hair. Thank you so much Young for making my hair dreams come true. Bhumika is one of the few stylists who understands curly hair well. She listens carefully to what her clients want and suggests haircuts and styles accordingly. She is very friendly and extremely helpful with the aftercare for hair. She suggests different styles and products for the hair and makes sure you understand how to style the hair. I have to recommend this location it's a great location with many talented hairstylist. I have to complement Nicole Amaral who was recommended to us by a talented hairstylist we used for 22 years who recently retired. She is very nice and does an excellent job on my hair and my wife's hair. We see her every 4 weeks and it's a pleasure every time. She is warm and easy to speak to. I walked in around 2pm and was greeted by the friendly staff of Salon Murcel. The ambiance in the salon is quite nice. The room is filled with lovely furniture, with dark-stained wood framed mirrors and carved fleur de lis that stud the walls. I did not have an appointment but they were quick to have me seated. My hair was cut by Young, who is a talented barber and great to talk to. We shared some stories and some laughs, but clearly she was not distracted, as I walked out of there with one of the best haircuts I've ever had.Kudos to Young for the great haircut and the owner, Aninda, for creating a lovely salon. I am so pleased with my experience at Salon Murcel. Dave is an amazing stylist who takes the time to listen and will offer honest feedback. I have had 2 amazing haircuts from him and could not be happier. I was trying to decide between 2 different hair styles and was not sure which be a good fit for me. Today was my first time at the salon. I have had a hard time finding the perfect stylist who understands my hair. Today I found her! Amber was awesome. My color (highlights plus base color) was stunning and my cut and blow dry perfect!!!
