Sally Ann Catering

I catered a small retirement lunch in August. Sally Ann did a wonderful Southern theme for an employee moving to the south. Everything was fantastic so I decided to use them again for a large baby shower with a pumpkin theme for twin boys.  We had 55 guests. My menu choices were the Chicken salad on croissants, Tuscan chicken on palm ciabatta, antipasto skewers, pasta salad, fruit salad, Caribbean potato salad, a cranberry Brie brick followed by pumpkin pie tarts, cheesecake pops, apple crisp bars and some heart shaped-chocolate chip cookies.  Let me say I'm a great cook. I usually do all the cooking myself because I'm very particular- but Sally Ann just beat me out. This food was Phenomenal!  Every single thing was absolutely delicious!  My guests loved it ALL. The Cranberry Brick was such a unique treat. A must have for the upcoming holidays!  Bonus: Christian was our server and he was SO professional and attentive to every little detail. It's been a while since I posted about how wonderful the team is at Sally Ann Catering! I do a lot of special events for my work and we pretty much use Sally Ann Catering exclusively. Christina is an absolute gem - she always comes up with creative menu and decor ideas and always goes the extra mile to ensure everything is just right. All of the servers and bartenders are great too. Friendly, warm, and always professional. We have done multiple dinners, big gala events and small receptions with Sally Ann Catering, and they never disappoint. Christina, Sally Ann and the company are very active in the community and support many organization's by sponsoring many local events. Great food customized for your occasion. We've used Sally Ann for everything from backyard parties to formal 50th celebrations. From corporate picnics to Christmas buffets. Christina and her team are wonderful at creating or enhancing a theme with both their food choices and the props used in their presentation. Sally Ann Catering did the catering and bartending for my wedding on Oct. 14, 2017. First off, the food was great! We did an appetizer buffet, and we got compliments from so many of our guest about how much they loved the food. They also did our desserts, we had a small carrot cake for us to cut, and then a display of mini pasties, all of which were amazing. They also did the bartending for the event. And they were ON it. They made great cocktails, and did a wonderful job. The staff was helpful, and friendly. Christina also assisted me in so many ways, because the venue didn't come with a coordinator. OorDepartment ordered of fully cooked 20 lb turkey with sides of cranberry and stuffing and two turkey wellingtons for our holiday party for Thanksgiving Everyone raved about the food! Yes! I ordered from Sally Ann Catering for a grand opening my company was having for a clinic site in Santa Ana. We ordered the week of and Ashley, who was my main contact was a delight! She was really nice and helpful when adding or removing items on our invoices. Although they were a bit late upon arrival, the food was delicious! Everyone loved it. They even set it up with flowers and really pretty decor to accompany our tables. I would highly highly recommend them! They were even close to on time for the pickup time 2 hours later. I hired Sally Ann Catering to help with my Husband's 50th birthday!  I have never hired a caterer before and let me tell you. ..Sally Ann Catering was awesome!! All I knew is that I wanted to serve the Turkey Wellington( which was delicious) and Christina took care of planning the rest of the menu along with the appetizers and dessert!  The menu she recommended was perfect, the presentation of the food was beautiful. Sally Ann Catering is the best! Sally Ann catered our  wedding reception this past Saturday. Our guests loved the food and the cake! Our event was held at the East Lake Club House in Yorba Linda. Christina is so professional and easy to work with. Besides providing the amazing food she helped us determine layout and a timeline for the cocktail hour and passed tray appetizers, toast, dinner, and  cake cutting. Sally Ann took care of the linens and set up. Christina even helped me set up my party favors! The cake was amazing! Folks were going back for seconds. Christina also recommended a wonderful florist. I used Christina Noble of Sally Ann Catering as my "day of" coordinator for my daughter's wedding. She was a God send! She decorated the ceremony site as well as the reception area beautifully and also handled the rentals - chairs, linens, etc.

The venue we used did not allow outside catering except for a "candy bar". Christina and I decided on a trial mix bar instead. She came up with all sorts of goodies - sweet and savory-and created a beautiful display.

If Christina had not been there for me on that day, I'm sure the wedding would not have been nearly as beautiful. She worked non-stop to make sure my daughter's special day was perfect. More...

Holy smokes, they are amazing. The Anaheim Fall Festival just produced a Zombie Dance party and not only did they bring tasty food, it all looked incredible within the theme. Incredibly yummy soft bread, cooked in long rows to look like intestines, Mac and cheese "brains", deviled eggs "eyes". So hilarious. And soooo good. And a zombie bar with original cocktails.They also helped the quality pf the event with the perfect decor to make the event even more presentable. They are a class act that always goes the extra mile to capture the tone of the event. And they have incredible staff. Dressed like the undead they became part of the event in a professional yet fun manner.I've used Sally Ann's several times and they have always gone above and beyond. They also do a lot of philanthropic work in the community which is another reason to support them. Can't recommend them highly enough! We just got married at a private home in Newport Beach. Christina was every step of the way with us! My family usually orders their turkey wellington every holiday and knew we can trust their food quality. Christina was such a delight to work with! I definitely wasn't expecting so much service from a caterer, but they have so many recommendations.

After the first appointment, they started following me on Pinterest to understand the exact look I was looking for. They got it all!! They got the sequin cloths i wanted, they knew where i could get the invitations i wanted, they ordered the centerpieces i wanted, really, they took care of ALOT! More than just catering for sure!

We had our engagement party at a home of some of our dear friends. Sally Ann was referred to us through these friends who know many people who have loved them in the past. We were so excited to have them provide the food for our hungry guests. We had a buffet of heavy appetizers which was more than enough for our party of 30 to 40 people. Everything was excellent and DeAnna and Sara were great to work with. They answered all of our questions and provided great menus for us to choose from. We first found out about Sally Ann Catering when our next door neighbors hosted an event for their son's graduation party.  There was a taco bar, where the tortillas were being made fresh as you stood in line.For our baby's 1 year birthday we decided to use Sally Ann as well.  Christina was absolutely wonderful to work with.  We had a pirate themed party at a local park, and she made sure everything went perfectly.  We had a taco bar like our neighbor did, and the guests were very impressed (several of them commented to us and also asked about Sally Ann Catering).Things that stood out:- Christina made sure everything would be perfect.  She even went to the park days in advance to make sure she knew where she wanted everything to go.- Christina worked with us closely to make sure the menu was just right based on headcount and age groups... all the way to the last minute.- She found additional pirate themed material left over from prior events they catered at and brought them.- A buffet was set up for kids younger than 10 years old, while the taco bar catered to the adults and older kids.  The mac & cheese for the kids was amazing.- The taco bar option comes with beef, chicken and shrimp... something to make everyone happy.  The food was cooked perfectly.  Like I mentioned earlier, several guests asked us who the caterer was.- The Sally Ann Catering staff was professional, on time, and helped with setup and cleanup.  They will dress appropriately for the occasion (e.g. - formal black tie, fiesta, etc.).It might be easy to find a good caterer, but it's hard to find an AMAZING caterer... Sally Ann Catering did a wonderful job at my wedding in June 2013!! I was so pleased with the food & service! All of my guests said that they loved the food. Two words!!TURKEY WELLINGTON. Just call and ask them what it is. They are famous for it. If you ever order them for thanksgiving you will see how nuts people are for these things. If you work for a company or have your own companies you should try out their corporate meals. They are affordable and delicious!! They also come with yummy desserts!!!Also try out their Tuesday night specials. They make a fresh meal for four and all you have to do is order ahead and just pick it up when your done with work.
