Steve and crew did a fantastic job assembling our main stage presentation. I worked with Steve and Mark directly on a strategically important segment and the work quality they produced was outstanding. Professional, talented, and very knowledgeable. True craftsmen. Highly recommended. More...

Steve and the team at SAC saved the day for us. We had a project for a client with a tight budget and tighter turn-around. A project morphed from a video into an interactive HTML animated Q&A tool. Once we were in a place that was beyond our expertise I knew exactly who to call. Call on SAC when you want expertise and professionalism. I would highly recommend them! More...

I contracted with SAC Designs to graphically redefine the primary symbol of our corporate culture. His work resulted in an unparalleled design and set of extraordinary elements. The symbol and elements are now proudly displayed in over 50 countries; over 70 offices; and on over 18,500 laptops. Further, the combination of Steve's professional, yet causal approach; attention to my concerns; amazing creativity; and focus on details make him an incredible design partner - one in which I already hired again. I worked with Sac Designs/Steven on a video project and strongly recommend them. Being a highly engineered platform there is always a learning curve for outside resources working with us and Steven took the time to get to know the product and applied his creative talent to create a sleek video that accurately and concisely demonstrates how Aircuity functions. He was very conscientious when making edits throughout the process and ensured we were happy before closing out the project. More...

This is now my second time working with SAC.  Top notch quality and creativity.  What I really like is the way they incorporate nuances of the concept/idea to everything they have produced.  The work they did for HomeBinder.com has helped shape our idea and our brand.  My next goal is to work on a video with them! Q&As

To compete with so many other websites out there today a great website design must be:

• Easy to navigate. You should be able to find what your looking for in 3 click
• Responsive. Your website must work on any device such as desktops, tablets and phones
• Easy to update and maintain. Today it is really easy to build a content manage system (CMS) so that anyone can make website updates themselves
• Search engine optomization (SEO). Every website should be developed in a certain way to help being found better in the search engines
• Light and Fast. Every website should load with 3-5 seconds.

This is hard to answer since every type of project is completely different. This why we like to have a initial conversation to figure out all the details.

I began my career at Lotus/IBM in 1998 after graduating with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Massachusetts College of Art and Design. At Lotus I worked under the guidance of a fantastic art director – as well as other designers – that I learned so much from, some of whom I still work with today. I was just starting out at the time, so I was asked to do a lot of the grunt work that the other designers didn’t want to do such as archiving projects and preparing presentation boards. Fortunately, however, I also got the opportunity to help designers with branding guidelines, designing websites, creating tradeshow graphics, as well as designing other various printed material.

During the few years I spent at Lotus, it was a difficult time to be working because of the dot com burst. Then in 2001 there was 9/11 and eventually our whole department was let go by 2003. Before I left Lotus, I was introduced by my art director to a company called Stormship. I began contracting with them shortly after leaving Lotus, helping their team with Flash animations and other print and multimedia projects.

As a new freelancer, I interviewed with most of the top Boston area design studios. I constantly called for interviews, applied for contracting work and sent resumes to as many companies as I could. There were some projects that I knew may not be a good fit, nevertheless I always felt that any interview would be good practice with the potential to lead to new opportunities. I never turned any work down. If there was something I didn’t know I would learn how to do it or hire someone who did it better than me.

After building up a few consistent clients, I decided to officially start my own company. I am now sharing office space with the first design studio I contracted with, Stormship. Today, most of my work is through word of mouth referrals. I have been working with many of the same clients that I started out with when I first went on my own back in 2003.

We are have a professional and trustworthy reputation that we have developed over the years. We have been working with many of the same clients since back in 2003, and we make it a point to treat every customer, big or small, like they are our only ones. Being able to do creative work that our team can feel proud of is equally important to us as being able to meet our clients’ expectations, on time and on budget.

As well as winning numerous amounts of awards!
