It kills me that I can't give this guy 6 stars. I've been training and exercising for 3 years and I've never found a workout like his boot camps. I've trained with dozens of gyms directly and through Class Pass and also worked with Personal Trainers. I've done HIIT, Circuit Workouts, Weight lifting and more and nothing can even compare to one session with this guy. I've only been training with him for 6 days and I already feel stronger and I feel like my endurance has gone up. I can't imagine what I'll be like after 3 months. This guy is so amazing, I feel so blessed to work out with him. Every time I leave his workouts I feel energized, pumped, and happy. His energy is extremely positive and through the roof. More...

Background: I'm a man in my fifties who hasn't done any regular exercise in probably 20 years.I started seeing Pete 1-on-1 in January 2018. He is very down to earth and straight forward. He quickly assessed where I was, and put together a customized workout plan for our sessions. We meet at a park near my house, because as Pete says "gyms are stupid." The workouts are bodyweight and hiit based. He pushes me, but doesn't use shame or yelling. He's was very empathetic when I tweaked my ankle and smoothly adjusted the workouts to crush my shoulders and arms instead.Slowly, over the weeks I got stronger. After a month, I started joining his boot camp classes on the beach at 6am, they are very challenging, and there are people who are way fitter than I am, but I am able to adjust and do more and more every week.I'm currently working out six days a week with this guy. I now weigh as much as I did in college, and I'm much, much stronger. I can really say this has changed my life for the better, and if you're interested at all, you should check it out. More...

I started doing the group workouts and absolutely fell in love with Pete's style and the group itself.  Pete's hardcore about training and will push you, but his gentle spirit and overall demeanor is unique. He won't let you get away with NOT pushing yourself, but he's not screaming at you like a military drill sergeant either. His boot camps are positive experiences -- I highly recommend them.  But I also train with him individually on a weekly basis. We never do the same workout. It's just as challenging as the group workouts but specifically tailored to my individual needs and always fun! The best thing about Pete is, he gets your body in shape -- and somehow along the way, your spirit gets in-check too.  Honestly one of the best trainers/coaches I've ever had -- and I've had many in my life since I was a kid. I work out with Pete several times a week. He is a great trainer: enthusiastic, friendly, encouraging, disciplined...knowledgeable about exercise, biology, nutrition. He lives out his philosophy. He's truly dedicated. One of the best things about Pete is that he really cares about this - he really wants you to be in shape, he really means it when he says he wants you to improve, to be better, feel better. He's flexible and will work with you to set up a routine that works. He works with a wide range of clients - some just starting to get back into fitness, some who are pretty amazing athletes. The Best Trainer I've Ever Met. I'm in my early 50's, I've worked out my whole adult life, I've been training with Pete now for about 2 years, I'm in the best shape of my life, and constantly improving.  Here's why Pete is the best: 1.  Personalized - whether you're doing the group workouts or 1-on-1, Pete has the ability to assess where you're at and figure out what you need to do to improve.  2.  Knowledge - the guy just knows his stuff.  From biology to exercise physiology to nutrition to psychology, he knows how to put it all together.  3. Approach - Pete has figured out out to get maximum results. The HIIT Supramaximal training is dialed in. 4.  Variety - while the approach is dialed in, each workout is different. Pete knows how to keep it fresh.  And progressive so that you keep reaching new heights. 5.  Fun!  Even when working to your limit, Pete's natural joy and love of helping comes through and is infectious.  I've introduced tons of people to Pete's workouts, from novices to elite athletes, and every one of them agrees that the workouts are awesome.  Here's my only warning - the workouts ARE tough. But, if you can swallow your pride, and realize that everyone is a newbie at some point, and give yourself permission to maybe not be perfect from the first workout, you WILL get what you're looking for with Pete. Dog friendly and awesome workout! Pete is a great trainer. I did his online challenge to get started back to where I could actually participate in the bootcamps. I go twice a week and bring my dog. She really benefits from all the exercise and is way sharper from being in the class as an activity. She actually brought me my kneepads a couple of days ago and today I got a foot-sit despite her arthritis. More...

Incredible personal trainer...comes to my home and beats me up lol.No gym needed - he brings everything, including a sheet of paper with your name on it and your hand crafted exercises. I was looking for a weight loss coach and fitness instructor and got more than I wanted. I have lost 10 lbs in 45 days and am stronger than ever.He gives you homework and also checks on you and your diet the days he doesn't see you.He is the only trainer that does EVERY SINGLE rep with you (yes every pushup is done in sync with you for example).Best kept secret in L.A. Pete is hands down the best trainer I have ever had.  Another reviewer said that he is a great combination of support and motivation and I am going to repeat that because I feel exactly that way -- somehow Pete pushes in a way that moves me past my limitations while boosting my confidence and motivation even when I don't perform as well as I would like.  I am so inspired by his athleticism and pursuit for excellence because those things are penultimate to me.  Yet, while he is focused on these things he is incredibly kind, patient and understanding - he meets me exactly where I am.  Through our training, I have rediscovered my own athleticism and I am incredibly grateful.   Quite simply, he is a tremendous trainer and those of us lucky enough to work with him know that.  If he has the opening in his schedule to train you, grab the opportunity because it is the best gift that you can give yourself. Pete Neumann is an amazing trainer and an awesome guy. He is so consistent. You can count on him hosting a group workout rain or shine. In order to help you succeed, I provide plenty of dietary consultation and a customized nutrition plan. Individual sessions are tailored to your specific goals and abilities. You will thrive with the constant variety..we will never repeat a workout. If you'd feel better training with a friend--that's great--small group sessions are available, too.

This is not your average fitness trainer session. I do the work with you. I set the pace, and I provide the example. You'll receive plenty of encouragement along the way.
