We first hired *** and his team to replace the side door on our house and we were so impressed with the speed, skill and professionalism of their work that we brought them back to help us with several other projects. They replaced our roof, including tear-off of 5 layers; completely redid the plumbing — supply and waste — of our entire house; installed a garbage disposal and repaired tile work; rewired the electrical in our workshop; retrofitted our house for earthquakes, installing braces and sheer walls; rerouted a sump pump drain; repaired and resurfaced an outside wall that had dry rot and cracked stucco; and finally repainted the entire house! And along the way, they even repaired our lovely old chime doorbell that had never really worked properly, fixed our house number light and installed new outdoor lights! Contacted Eli through a referral from a separate company due to them being booked out until April. I am so grateful to have done business with Eli and his crew! I called for an estimate to replace the current kitchen cup light for a hanging light and slightly moved over a few inches, Eli came over the same day worked up an estimate sent everything by email that same night and we were in business two days later. Eli and his team did an incredible job renovating our master bathroom, which consisted of demoing the existing bathroom, reconfiguring walls, building a marble tile shower and custom double vanity and installing a jacuzzi tub, smart toilet and marble floors. Eli was the perfect partner in helping to tweak my design ideas, and his team of carpenters completed high quality work within our timeline. His workers were clean and courteous every day that they were on the job and they double checked that their work was meeting my expectations whenever I was home. Eli and SRY Construction has completed a number of different projects for us and we've had a great experience. We started off with our kitchen (putting in a tankless water heater, removing a wall, connecting to the outside with french doors, adding lighting+tiles+trim etc) and then moved onto our backyard and the garage. The guys that work with him were great and personable and even though we lived at our house during the construction, they made it pleasant. Eli also took care to give us lots of choices and options that met our design preferences. Our deck was something that was quite difficult as we were creating a new lower level and connecting it to the upper level but they did a great job keeping the continuity between both and helped turn our vision for descending step planter boxes into a reality. In the garage, the guys came across dry rot but quickly addressed the issue and got back on track to the pipes, drywall and paint. My main circuit breaker ("CB") burnt out so I needed an electrician asap, and finding one became a task.  I called three reputable electricians on yelp and left messages who never called back.  I called SRY Construction & Electric and reached Eli (pronounced "El-e") who was booked that day but said he could come by within a certain timeframe to look at the CB.  (Look for the before and after photos of the circuit breaker in the photos section.)My CB is a discontinued industrial GE model so Eli needed to check with his supplier to see if a replacement was available; otherwise, I would need to rewire a costly new panel.  While waiting for Eli to see if he can get a replacement CB, another electrician gave a quote on rewiring since the CB is no longer available.  That electrician removed my fuse panel door but didn't reinstall it; I should have had him reinstall the door.Eli's supplier subsequently found a replacement CB (see pics) so he express shipped the CB for the following day.  The next day Eli installed the CB, and it was as good as new.  Eli's customer service and work were excellent for several reasons, and I really appreciate his due diligence for safety first!  He thoroughly cleaned my CB box before installing the new CB and impressed he repainted the CB inner door cover.  While the other electrician should have reinstalled my fuse box door, Eli went to the trouble of reinstalling it for me without my asking him for safety.I reached Eli on a very busy day where he was booked but still made time to see if he could help me and showed genuine sympathy that I was without power.  He showed a lot of patience especially given the fact my CB is very hard to find.  Eli performed a very professional job starting with  communication, research and performing the job itself.  AS a CSR myself I recognize Eli went above and beyond. Eli is God sent to me & my family. I was previously screwed by another contractor. The first conversation I had with him I knew I was making the right decision. He's very patient. He worked with me to find the material I liked. I never felt rushed. His team is very professional and they work really hard. Each day I came home I was excited to see the nice NEAT progress. Eli and his crew did an excellent job installing an ADA-compliant walk-in shower for my elderly father in Piedmont. The crew took pains to disturb my dad as little as possible while they worked (he spends most of his day in bed), and they cleaned up the construction materials, debris and dust in the bathroom every evening before leaving so he could use the room at night. They are highly skilled, detail-minded, friendly and reliable guys. They worked steadily through, finishing the project in a very reasonable amount of time. I cannot speak highly enough about Eli (owner for SRY Construction)! Eli and his team rebuilt my mothers garage in El Cerrito after a major car accident damaged the structure. Eli is incredibly attentive to details and very responsive (by phone, text, and email). He gave us daily updates on the progress of our project, and worked closely with his team to assure that the goals were clear and that the work met his high standards. Extremely professional and kindhearted! We had a blown sub panel that could have been tragic if we had not noticed it when we did. It was Presidents' Day weekend and we could not for the life of us find anyone to come out to take a look. We were completely in the dark. On a whim I found Eli Sadi of SRY and we could not have been luckier! He came that same day and reassured us that he would take care of everything. We needed an outdoor LED security light installed. This was a last minute thing that needed to be completed as soon as possible. Eli was right on top of it, came out to asses the job and gave me several options to choose from. The installation was seemless and it was perfect! Eli kept in contact with me through the process and when he was going to be delayed due to traffic he made sure I knew he was still coming and gave me a new ETA. SRY Construction completed a major remodel of our building.  Eli was amazing in the expertise and time he spent talking with us about design and construction options.  He probably volunteered a dozen hours consulting with us and didn't ask for payment for that time.  I had considered two other companies before deciding on SRY, and I'm so glad that I did.  Best attributes:1. Eli is the owner and he is amazingly trust worthy and honest.  His pricing was in-line with other comparable companies and the quality of his guys' work was sensational.2. As I mentioned above, his guys do great work.  They are also very versatile so they were able to do most of the carpentry, electrical, and finish work all themselves.  3. No B.S.  I have worked with many contractors over the years and I feel like there are always games that they play.  Usually it's bidding low upfront and then trying to kill you slowly with expensive change orders.  Eli explained everything to me and it all felt above board.There are lots of contractors in the East Bay to choose from and it's tough to know who to pick (at least that is what I found).  I can't recommend Eli and SRY enough.  You will be so thankful that you chose to work with them. A few years ago I hired SRY to remodel my bathroom. I was so happy with them I hired them to do another bathroom-- beautiful tile work in both. Then they did the kitchen/dining room/living room, with granite counters and tile backsplash and floors, and installed a deck.
