We reached out to World of Dog Training on a recommendation. This was the best decision we could have made. Our two recently adopted German Shepherd rescues, not unexpectedly, came with some behavioral issues. They would fight any time I would play or pay attention to either of them. Quinn doesn't want the ball but she doesn't want Emmi to have it so that would also result in a fight. Emmi would attempt to swallow my entire hand when taking a treat. At that time the solution was one dog locked in her crate while the other one received attention. And then came Ryan - his dog training is awesome. His ability to get humans to understand dog behavior and provide the tools to manage & obtain desired results was more than we ever expected.The dogs love the training 'sessions'. But most of the time I don't think they realize when we are practicing. I can now play fetch with Emmi while Quinn runs around the yard ignoring the ball. They sit and wait until asked to come in the house and crocodile Emmi now takes treats gently. Every day the progress that is made only reinforces our decision to reach out to Ryan and that rescuing 2 dogs at once was worth it. More...

Ryan Matthews is a pleasure to work with! He is prompt, polite, and an all around nice person. He came to my home to help me work with my monster puppies (English Mastiff / German Shepherd- brothers ) Cain & Abel. After four 1 on1 lessons, my boys are now 100% better dogs! Don't get me wrong, YOU have to work with your dogs daily to instill the techniques taught to you by Ryan. But, IT WORKS! My furry sons are now 8 months old and I'm looking forward to a lifetime of bragging rights on how good they are! World of dog training works! Ryan is awesome! I first met Ryan when I had some major issues with my dog Jersey, he was my last shot before rehoming her. He showed me what I was doing wrong and the correct communication and signals she was giving me. Since then, Shes been the best dog I’ve ever owned! I got a new puppy Max (now 2) and Training was a breeze! I had Max sitting and come commands after 1 hour at 8 WEEKS OLD!!! Ryan has amazing relationships with dogs. We left our 1 year old adopted Lab/Border collie that was unruly and a few bad habits while we were on vacation. After welcoming home a Jack Russell Terrier, I knew right away I was in trouble and needed help training her. Ryan Matthews, thankfully, is knowledgeable on hyperactive breeds (and patient with them) and within a few short sessions, our JRT, was following commands such as not pulling on the leash, not jumping up on people and not barking when the doorbell rings. Ryan is nothing short of amazing!! At the peak of our worry and concern over our new puppy, he accommodated us last minute (I asked the night before)! Riddled with worry and concern, I was ready to spend the $$$$ for him to board and train our puppy! Ryan, whom we never met before, reassured us via text message and after our FIRST lesson gifted us with real skills to connect with our puppy AND dispersed our fears and worries.
