First goggle review. First time getting cleaning service for our house... ever.Initially, I wasn't able to call without leaving a voice mail. Requesting a quote via goggle seemed to do the trick to start the process. Contacted her on Wednesday and crew was here on Saturday.Ruth and michael did a great job of deep cleaning our house: 3 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, kitchen, and living room. Toilets, tubs, showers, stove, and kitchen floors passed our standards. 4 hours. Cleaning walls, windows, and blinds are not included in the pricing.Overall, very satisfied with the results. After searching long and hard for a good housecleaning service, we discovered Ruths House Cleaning.We've been using them for over 6 months now and we continue to be as satisfied with them today, as when we first began. Ruths HOUSE Cleaning is very professional, reliable and responsive to the customer's needs. Among some of the things that impress:-They always call the day before to remind us of their next visit.-They pay attention to details most other housecleaners miss (e.g. The top of our stovetop hood vent is a dust collector. Most housecleaners we've had before would forget to clean up there, but never has any House cleaner From Ruths failed to clean that area, and we've never had to tell them about it.)-They always get my glass shower door sparkling clean, which is no easy task.-They're always willing to go the extra mile on anything I ask help with (e.g. I asked Ruth for help cleaning the cruddy molding at the bottom of my shower door--she happily figured out how to remove it, completely got rid of the hard water stains on it, and replaced the molding all like it was was no big deal.-They come equipped with everything they need and use all natural cleansers. But if you prefer them to use any of your own cleaning supplies, they will happily do so instead.-If there is ever any issue, they go out of their way to make it right.After a bit of turnover, we now have a steady regular person, Ruth, who is really terrific. She is always on time, has a "can do" attitude about everything, and always has a smile on her face. She is always helpful, accommodating, pleasant and thorough. I have an old friend whose antique house had been neglected these past few years due to memory issues. As a point person for family who live out of state, there was an urgency to secure her living space while we are arranging for her care. The need for a deep house cleaning was vital, and would add to her safety and well being. I contacted Ruth's Cleaning Service because they are local and have sparkling reviews.Well let me add mine. 'Stunning' is the word to describe the enormous job they did in less than a day. I could not do what they did in bringing back the charm of this old house. With some effort on my part to clear surfaces and floors of clutter, dats before, this young couple on staff cleaned a country kitchen, bath, 2 bedrooms, a great room and vestibule in record time. It is a huge living space that was once a carriage barn. The place has high ceilings built in library shelving, wood floors and antiques pieces. The place was revitalized due to the incredible hard working staff. They know their stuff and they were worth every penny! So thankful for their skills at a time we needed it and just in time celebrate the holidays as in times past. We will continue to use their services monthly. Nothing's better than having a clean home thanks to Ruth's House Cleaning Services from east county San Diego. This is a review for my personal home. However, they do vacation rentals, offices, small spaces and large spaces, and move outs. Since my original housekeeper got in a car accident and could not come anymore it was time to find a new service before school season. I found this business on Yelp and tried to book through yelp message.At first I gave my dates in the end of July but was not granted anything since they are apparently so busy and booked up. So I had to wait for August until they had an opening. I kept checking in as well as they did so the communication was great. Michael, the husband of Ruth does all the communication: calls, texts, Yelp messages etc. he answers back swiftly.They came over on a Saturday afternoon (I'm so use to a weekday so this was different for me). I met Michael, Ruth, and his nephew and niece who were all ready to get to work. They are very nice people. There's no language barrier. They were punctual (right on time). I had 4 people clean in exactly 2 hours. I'm not use to this usually it's 1 person for 4-6 hrs. I like the quickness as long as the cleaning is professional and thorough instead of rushed and not spotless (yes I'm very picky when it comes to cleaning).Here's a few things I had to clean myself before/after: windows, oven, vacuum under cushions from couch, and wipe my fridge shelves since those were forgotten but mostly not included (please read their website for cleaning details). If you want something cleaned I would make a list and tell them exactly what you want cleaned for future visits so you are extremely happy with their services.Yes they bring their own supplies and vacuum. I loved how clean the bathtubs and showers were, the kitchen was spotless (I like how you placed my kitchen table), living room was neat and orderly, floors were glistening, kids room was organized, and carpets free of dog hair. They take out the trash for you at the end.I gave him my square footage and bedrooms and bathrooms info and I was quoted $185 for the first visit for my home space. The second visit Michael offered will be $120. How much would you pay to get rid of that aggravation of cleaning your house on your time off? Does cleaning cause tension in the family? I have been a customer for a year and a half. I had other services in years past, but stopped them when I had some life changes. I decided to surprise my wife with this when she went away for a week, and have been hooked ever since.After the initial deep cleaning, the service has been excellent. The price has always stayed the same and we are always happy with the results.Since we've had them, we've had a few different cleaners and all have been great. We have a 1200 ft condo with 4 adults and two dogs, so the cleanings every other week have been necessary.We couldn't be happier to come home to a nice smelling, clean home and you can't beat the price! The satisfaction of knowing how great it feels to have a clean house every other week is easily worth what we pay. I was impressed with all the positive reviews for Ruth's Cleaning Service and also getting tired of cleaning my home.  I have extremely high standards where that is concerned and felt like no one could ever do a job as good as I can. We just had a deep cleaning with the crew from Ruths House Cleaning. They were completely amazing! They were on time, kind, hard working, meticulous, and left our house so clean and shiny. A few notable examples: we squeak when we walk on the floors; every window is clean inside and out; the window tracks are clean and shiny; the blinds are dust-free! Phenomenal!!! I was shocked and amazed by how detailed the cleaning was done. The base boards, vents, windows, washer, dryer, dishwasher, refrigerator, everything. ... They left no part of my home untouched and unclean! Even down to the decorative touch on my roll of toilet paper. They went above and beyond our expectations in making our new home move in ready! Communications was easy and fast, via text, yelp and email. They responded quickly with a quote with a detailed breakdown of what the cleaning included. Wow, is all I can say about this company. I had been planning on taking another trip to California, however was running a little low on funds in order to pay for my trip. I had been in contact with my uncle who desperately needed a breath of relief by having a clean house (it wasn't necessarily dirty, but very, very cluttered as he works such depriving hours and barely gets any time to himself). We worked out a plan where I could come stay with him and he would pay my way over if I could come tidy up, which I definitely obliged by, as tidying up isn't that big of a deal to me (I didn't know what I was getting myself into).When I arrived, let's just say the house had seen better days and I was instantly struck with the feeling of regret and dismay as I looked at the house before me. I didn't know where to begin and had a feeling that I would be spending my entire trip to Cali cleaning his house, which is not at all what I anticipated. So I did a quick Google search to see if there was anyone that did this sort of thing (I wasn't even aware this was an actual business, but thank god it was). I quickly got excited when I saw all the positive reviews this business had and gave them a call. The rep that I spoke to was very kind and courteous and expressed to me how the job would be done quickly and efficiently, and their prices actually surprised me. I've used ruth's cleaning service for a few months now and they do an exceptional job everytime! My house is left spotless and if I ask them to please pay attention to a certain area of the house, they always do! Coming home to a cleaning from Ruth's cleaning service is always the best day of the month. All the dishes in the sink are put away, the toilets and showers are scrubbed spotless, the house overall smells so fresh and clean and they definitely put in the extra effort. We've requested for them to de- hair our showers, scrub dirty outdoor furniture, clean out the fridge, etc and they are always happy to do any extra request. I trust them completely in my house- my roommate and I leave a key and they usually do the cleaning while we aren't home. Ruth's House Cleaning Service does an amazing job. From the first moment of contact they communicated with me very well, texted me the appointment time/date and confirmed it the day before. The day of my appointment the contacted me and told me they were on their way and also when they were almost done, so I could plan to return home when they were finished. I felt very comfortable leaving them in my home without me being home. Their work is amazing. We have 4 dogs and 2 cats so our wood floors take a beating after they are done with them they look good as new. I had forgotten that I left one of the beds unmade and the clean sheets were just thrown on it, came home to it being made. It also has a liner I needed to put on it, they saw it laying there and did it for me. I was very grateful for that as I was unsure how I was going to get it on myself. Contractor had left the place in kind of a mess, and we were hoping Ruths House Cleaning could get us back to a normal level of clean.To my pleasant surprise, they went beyond our normal level of clean, to the cleanest the house has ever been! They sent three people out, which already gave me confidence, and then all three spent the entire booked time (4 hours) scrubbing, dusting, vacuuming, and hitting every nook and cranny. House has never looked or smelled so good!A few examples: They dusted *all* of our shelves, even the ones covered in knick-knacks. They got all the dog hair out of our couch (something we've despaired of ever doing ourselves). They even hit the baseboards in every room.After they were done, they made sure I went through each room and called out anything that wasn't up to my expectations. I noticed a few baseboards had been missed, and some of the door panels, but that was it (they immediately cleaned everything I pointed out, without protest).We've signed up for their regular cleaning service, and are looking forward to having a cleaner, fresher house from now on! So far so good, they have cleaned my home once and I have rebooked them for future cleanings every three weeks. They are VERY busy often 2+ weeks out so if you need a cleaning right away not the best option most likely, but they may be able to squeeze you in with a cancellation. I love this company! I have been very overwhelmed with the return of my post college son. I essentially had a move out, then move right back in type of cleaning needs Going through everything in my closets, and such, to make room for my son, left my kitchen and bathroom in need of a good scrubbing. I have a disability with my back from prior car accidents, so this type of work is very hard for me to do. When it comes to cleaning these people are beyond good! If you are like me you have tried many different approaches to your cleaning needs. I have tried big companies, small companies, referrals and private maids. The results ranged from horrible to good. Then I tried Ruths House Cleaning. WOW! After several friends have had issues finding reliable house cleaning services in San Diego, I felt compelled to update my review once again. I AM SO HAPPY TO HAVE FOUND RUTHS HOUSE CLEANING SERVICES! Seriously, you can stop looking for your next house cleaner here (although book early, they're busy because they're so amazing!). I love that Ruth and Mike contact me each month about scheduling a time, then they confirm it the day before too! So convenient when we often forget amidst the craziness of two babies, two full-time jobs, and two graduate degree programs. contacted the top 4 house cleaning companies on Yelp to see if I could find good service for my 1500 square foot home in North Park on Fridays.  These were my results.San Diego Expert House Cleaning:  Responded in 10 minutes of my request.  Prices were great.  Licensed and bonded with references available. 3 cleaners for just $95.  Unfortunately, they are booked on Fridays.  I can see why.  5 stars.Ruth's House Cleaning:  Had references, licensed bonded, responded in 15 minutes,  with good pricing, but unfortunately were all booked up to.  I can see why.  5 stars.Brilliant Star Cleaning:  Said I needed a deep cleaning for $320 for the initial appointment.  Licensed, but not bonded.  Do not have Fridays available.  Offered me July 22nd instead, but when I asked more questions, they said they were fully booked?  Do not give out references.  Too expensive anyway.  3 stars for the prompt response though.Green Frog:  Never responded to my request for a quote.  1 star.Guess, I will keep looking. I noticed a few baseboards had been missed, and some of the door panels, but that was it (they immediately cleaned everything I pointed out, without protest).We've signed up for their regular cleaning service, and are looking forward to having a cleaner, fresher house from now on! I cannot say enough wonderful things about Ruths House Cleaning! First of all she was able to get me in same day, which is amazing since it was a Saturday and I had a very short window. I needed her for a DEEP clean on an apartment which hadn't been cleaned in years. There was a lot to do and when I saw it I was overwhelmed and worried I won't be able to find someone to take it on. Ruth was an absolute professional, she didn't bat an eye and just got in there. Hey attention to detail was amazing as she cleaned out cupboards, fridge, behind microwave, baseboards, really everywhere you can imagine including walls!! They went above and beyond! Without a doubt, I am now a loyal customer. Ruth's House Cleaning was recommended to me by a friend who raves about the work they've done for her. I'm usually a last minute kind of house cleaning customer, so it took me some time to get on the schedule as they are busy with regular customers, but I'm thrilled to have finally booked. This was our first time using Ruth's company and they did such a wonderful job! My wood floors were so incredibly clean, the windows done wonderfully and they paid careful attention to detail, down to organizing items in our study and folding the toilet paper end in a hotel-style manner. Ruth and her team did a fantastic job for a great price. We were moving out so the place had to be pristine. Ruth and her team came through, and on short notice. They even cleaned things that were not required to be cleaned per my walk through. Will always hire this team when I need house cleaning! Very great customer service and coordination also. I had a situation where I could not be there to allow an estimate, and I could not get there in time because of work. They were very patient and very kind about the situation.
