It is our first visit to this location and as soon as I walked through the door, the hostesses were very welcoming.  We didn't have to wait for our table and our server Julie was so accommodating and attentive.  I ordered the wedge salad, BBQ shrimp and a cosmopolitan, my spouse ordered the ribeye,  mash potatoes and a martini, our meal and drinks were extraordinary.  Shout out to the Joe Floor Manager as I liked his manager swag and he was very nice and courteous.  We will be definitely returning for another visit. A truly good stake house is not an easy thing to find. It is not enough simply to have good food or good atmosphere or good service. Ruth's Chris has all of these and more.My father treated me to a visit to Ruth's Chris as a birthday present. We are both normally rather busy with work, but favorable conditions at the office and in traffic saw us arrive an hour before our reservation. The staff had no issues seating us all the same. Each member of the staff we dealt with wished me a happy birthday. And it was clear that rather than simply clapping their hands and singing a song, the staff simply did their best to make our visit memorable.Our waiter was extreamly knowledgeable about the various cuts of meat and how they are prepared, as well as the list of wines that they have to offer. He knew when to explain and when to just let us decide what we wanted. He didn't bat an eye when I explained precisely how I wanted my steak cooked and the kitchen had just as easy of a time delivering it to the table. As for the food, I have no words other than praise. Ruth's Chris has both quality products as well skilled staff to work with them. Everything from the main course, to the sides, down to the tea was excellent. Thanksgiving Day. There were four in my party and we were seated in one of the small private rooms off of the main dining room. The service was exceptional, as always. The entire staff was very friendly, professional, and welcoming (the valet, hostess, wait staff, and management), even though they were working on a holiday.We all had the traditional Thanksgiving Day meal and added three family style side dishes to share (a la carte). Everything was delicious. We received a complimentary pie on our way out. The valet service is reasonable and easy. The location is convenient to those in the metro St. Louis area. The ambience was festive. This was our third Thanksgiving Day meal at Ruth's Chris and we'll return. Highly recommended for special occasions and holiday meals, especially if you don't want to do a lot of cooking for just a few people. More...

Waiter was excellent and we had our own room so ambiance was good and it wasn’t as noisy as it could have been. Filets at the table were excellent but my husband’s ribeye was gristly and not as good as he hoped. Seafood tower was well done but spare for $59, salads were really good and my salmon special was really good (although oilier than I expected, maybe because of the bits of fried lobster on top). Sweet potato side was good but overly sweet, scalloped potatoes and Brussels sprouts were both undercooked. For $13 a side, they should have been excellent. More...
