We just got the absolutely best Christmas tree with the help of one of their staff members named Thomas. He was so very helpful and his patience with us was wonderful ,and thanks to him and the wonderful selection of trees, we were able to get the perfect tree for us. Then another staff member named Steve who also made our whole experience wonderfully memorable with all his help in making sure the trunk was cut exactly where we needed it to be. As well as the need for the removal of some bottom branches, and wrapping the tree up. He then tied our tree perfectly to the top of our car and was so very kind and helpful as well. All the people who work here are like Thomas and Steve, so if you are not able to get one of them when you go shopping at Russo's have no fear. Everyone I have ever dealt with here is awesome!!! Russo's is a great place to buy local foods. The produce selection takes up a large portion of the store, even extending outside, and can boast a wide variety of different fruits and vegetables you won't find at a normal grocery store. The only problem is that this produce isn't always particularly fresh, often seemingly near he end of its shelf life.The bakery is also a notch another that of your local stop and shop, with delicious artisan breads and pastries. Russo's has the absolute gorgeous fruit and vegetables. If I did not know better, I would think that they were right of the vine or picked that day. The selection is second to none. Amazing Italian market where you can get anything from fresh veggies, groceries, homemade pastas, delicious sandwiches & prepared food & friendly service. The eggplant lasagna is fabulous. Ugh... Really having a hard time giving this less than five stars cause my only hangup was the lack of meat. I mean, there are some meat products and some cooked meat items, but if you want a steak to go with all that incredible produce, you'll have to make another stop elsewhere. Otherwise? Awesome.
