It's a cute little place that honestly deserves more credit. There wasn't a wait & we sat ourselves! The waiter was very attentive and got everything out to us really quickly. We ordered wings & a Caesar salad with a medium vegetarian pizza! The salad and wings were amazing! The pizza was sooooo fresh, my mouth watered looking at it! My search for the best slice continues as My wife and I plow through the list of competitors for Pizza Week in Tampa Bay. We are half way through and hit two more joints today . My review is for pizza only.Russo's makes one hellava pizza pie.  This is the reason I am on this search.  I keep hoping the next guy will knock my socks off!  Well, I am looking for my socks...The pie was beautiful (said wit a New York accent). This is the real deal.  Way too many people claim to have New York pizza and don't.  These wise guys came with the full arsenal.  We ordered the New York Village.The crust was thin as it should be for a New York pie.  It was the perfect width with all the toppings reaching to the edges.  The crust flavor was spot on, bread-sticks made of this crust would kill.  The perfect mix of crispy and soft center. Not the big dough ball some places throw at you.The toppings were excellent.  It had the right flavor profile for a city pie.  Good sauce, great tasting meats, fresh shrooms and top quality cheese rounded out this piece of art. I had dinner here with a group from my church on Fat Tuesday for the first time. The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming! We were served a buffet, so had the opportunity to try a variety of dishes. Sandwich trays, chicken pesto pasta, pizza, salad, and cannolis. Everything was delicious! What a great pizza place. Yes I know tons and tons and tons of pizza places but this place is awesome. Let me explain why. I am a sans club member and sams club has this deal where you buy $40 and you get $50 in gift cards. It's just a totally awesome deal. So yeah I hit up Russo's on Westheimer. Just as a point of clarity- only the corporate restaurants accept these gift cards not the franchisees. It's annoying because when I complained to the corporate they said they had informed and the franchisees have a contract agreement. More...

Great experience here! The service was excellent and the food was just as great! They give you bread and oil to start off with, but there's also tons of appetizers to choose from as well. Their garlic knots were superb!! I ended up getting the baked ziti which tasted excellent, it wasn't too cheesy or doughy to where it overwhelmed the pasta dish itself. Every time I've ordered from here I've been impressed with the food especially considering they're open so late and the quality always seems on point. Their tiramisu is actually really good and the pizza is better than most places I've ordered from in Houston.  I also recently had their vodka sauce and it tasted like something you would get from a more expensive Italian  restaurant. It seems like the other reviews have to do with service and not the quality of the food but I've never had any issues with the service and I eat here frequently. More...

Had lunch there yesterday for the first time. The place looks like a NYC pizza restaurant, with lots of pictures and other memorabilia. Lots of dark wood and booths for seating. The place smells like great Italian food, which is wonderful. I was also impressed with the menu selection. There were prepared samples of some of the menu items on the counter where you order your food. The person who took our order was very polite and helpful, and the food was prepared quickly and brought directly to our table. Food was great, and the prices were reasonable. Looks like they have a wide selection of wines, and happy hour every day.I'm looking forward to returning to try some of the other items on the menu! More...

Food and service are excellent. We are vising from North Dakota and stayed in a hotel in the galleria area. The hotel staff recommended this place. The first time order for delivery and the food was pretty good and Jose was very helpful and patient with us. The second time we went to the restaurant to dine in, the server was very professional and the food was amazing. Jose came to our table and make the food and the service were up to our standards. I’ve ordered from Russo’s Pizza several times in the last few months. Their service is excellent. They go far out of their way to take care of their customers. It’s simply the best pizza I’ve eaten in Memphis. The crust is crispy and perfectly cooked. The homemade sauce is vibrant and fresh. The other toppings are all top notch in freshness. Russo's in Harlingen, Texas is definitely 5 stars and the service is 10 stars. Amos is the best server with a great smile and patience and lots of fun in teaching new customers about the menu, the meals, and desserts.
Paul, a manager was helpful with Info on all questions asked.
A wonderful place to dine, visit, treat yourself and others. Had to take home a pizza because it looked great and smells cry to go home with us! Lunch tomorrow! Opened in January, so glad they did!!!! More...

Ordered thru Yelp app with grub hub and order was messed up with the must fill out categories and came with pesto sauce instead of tomato sauce. Russo's made a new one and sent it out without waiting another hour.  Little inconvenient to get thru it all with a little 3 year old that wants everything his way to "T".    But they did right thing and took care of me.  Little one was happy and the world didn't come to an end. I had gotten takeout before but I finally stopped by Russo's for the dine-in experience. I came with a coworker on a Tuesday for lunch. Unlike other pizza joints, Russo's is definitely a comfortable dine-in experience as it's a large restaurant with plenty of seating. The decor and ambiance are nice and gives you an Italian vibe. I was happy to see that they have a bunch of lunch specials. Pizza, soup and salad combos, pasta dishes, etc. We decided to split a large one-topping pizza for $13.99. Pretty good deal!We went with a pepperoni pizza. They start you off with some complimentary garlic bread. It wasn't the best but hey, it's free! The pizza wasn't out of this world but it was good. Stopped in Thursday for some pie, great  place for NYC style pizza!!!! We ordered a meatball pizza and were super happy with it, very authentic to the pizzas we have had in NYC. This place was delicious!!!! We got delivery and it was still hot and was gooey just like a New York Slice. The sauce tasted fresh and not overpowering because it had just the right amount of sauce and of cheese. I will be ordering again soon!!

Details: We tried calamari, hot wings and 2 pizzas... The MARGHERITA pizza was not the typical style and it lacked flavor and that was not fresh mozzarella cheese, can’t recommend that specific pizza. The NY VILLAGE was delicious, flavorful and hearty with a generous portion of meat and veggie toppings.
