Reading the reviews I was skeptical, but arriving at Royaile I became quickly at ease...the grounds are beautiful, peaceful and relaxing. Â I was greeted by polite and knowledgeable staff. My Dog and Cat were checked in and I was able to visit both in their kennels before leaving. Â The facility was immaculate and smelled fresh and clean. I picked up 3 days later, my dog was bathed (free) and smelled wonderful. Both of my pets were happy and well cared for. Â I would recommend Royaile to anyone looking for a true doggie/cat vacation. We just picked up Java after a 4-day stay. It was his first time boarding and we weren’t sure how he’d adjust to it. Judging from the happy puppy we brought home, it seems like Java enjoyed his stay. This kennel is on gorgeous property and the kennels are kept so clean. The young man who was there showed me the grounds reassuring me of what I saw and read online. He was kind, helpful and so courteous. It was evident when I visited the site and when I dropped off and picked up my Pooh Bear (Pomeranian) that he loved working with dogs and it wasn't just a job for him. I highly recommend this kennel. In my researching kennels, I visited so many and some were just nightmareISH! I highly recommend Royaile Kennel. May be a bit out of the way......but well worth it. More...

We recently had to leave our current guide dog puppy at Royaile Kennel for about 5 hours as we wanted to visit the Kartchner Caverns. I'm glad we left her there as it would have been difficult to take her to the caverns, and the staff at the kennels were very accommodating with the special rules involving a guide dog. We were very pleased with the facilities and the staff we met. If we are traveling in the area again, we will definitely feel comfortable leaving our dog there. More...

I have left my two dogs here three times now. Â The people are friendly and knowledgeable. Â Rates are moderate. As for the prior review, the kennel now requires that dogs be treated for ticks and fleas during the summer months. Â If animals are not, they will provide a flea dip for an extra charge. Â Cheaper to do this yourself, even though the charge is reasonable. I would give 5 stars; but, I want to have left the dogs a few more times to get a good trend. Â Classy policy is that they provide a free bath for all dogs that are there for overnight stays. More...

Just moved to Tucson and my husband and I went to look at every kennel in town. We were shocked at some of the facility's. Then we found Royaile Kennel. We loved the grounds and friendly staff. Our dog loved the kennel. When our dog Sam is outside he can see everything around him and then if he just wants to rest there was the indoor area where he didn't have to see other dogs and he could have his bed from home so he was more comfortable. He came home happy after the free day visit they gave us to see if we/he liked the place, that was enough for me. We have since taken him there a few times and he jumps out of the car with excitement, we think he loves it there! This is the first place we have boarded at that gives our dog Sam a free bath before we picked him up. I have told all our new friends in Tucson to go to Royaile, it is a great place. More...
