I purchased the Himalayan Salt Lamp as a birthday gift for my sister. She said it was packaged nicely and it was something she was planning to purchase for herself. Rothe's easy to use website lets me send same-day or pre-scheduled flowers to my Grandmother in Philly from my apt in San Francisco. I've ordered many times and only once was my Grandmother unhappy (she thought the flowers died too quickly) and Rothe immediately corrected the issue and left a senior citizen happy again. Every aspect was flawless! It was for my mom's birthday and I wanted to make sure everything was just right, as I was arranging this from Toronto, ON. Delivery was on time and, according to my mom, the gentleman delivering the flowers was most polite and kind. I was a tad worried I couldn't pick the flowers myself, but my mom sent me pictures and it seems the loveliest plant with nicest flowers was chosen. I ordered flowers for my wife's birthday back in August and got a beautiful arrangement delivered same-day for a really reasonable price. Today, I went back for a bouquet and was pretty disappointed in the size and quality for the price point. I felt weird about it, so I called. I spoke with Herb, the owner, who encouraged me to come back so he could "make it right." He was friendly and sincere and didn't make the experience awkward at all. We picked out some new flowers together, he rewrapped the whole thing in five minutes, and I was way happier with how it turned out. Before I left, he assured me that I could always ask for modifications if I wasn't satisfied with how an arrangement looked, and seemed really dedicated to providing great customer service. Really laaate review, but I just wanted you to know that I'm still so very thankful for the help your store gave me. I called in Nov. 26, 2011 because the "comfort planter" I was looking at was sold out online. Well, your AMAZING staff (I believe Herb took my call ( )), helped me choose something different. We ended up going with a deep purple cyclamen plant, and was told that it might even last a bit longer past the season. Well, fast forward to almost 2 years later and the plant is STILL THRIVING. I am not from the area, but needed to order a sympathy bouquet for a colleague. I read the wonderful reviews and called the florist. Spoke to a gentleman who was very nice and helpful. Told him my price and let them decide on the arrangement. We went to Rothe Florist for our wedding flowers, and got top shelf service all the way through. We didn't have a particular color scheme, so based on the season Mr. Rothe helped us to choose beautiful arrangements for our tables, as well as my bouquet, and flowers for our family. He advised us on some floral niceties (i.e. flowers for people we hadn't considered before!), which were much appreciated. On the day, he had everything set up even before we arrived, and it was so wonderful to walk in and find it all set up so beautifully. I purchased my flowers online yesterday and for whatever reason it did not go through.  I was concerned and called the florist.  I was blown away by the wonderful customer service.  Betsy was so wonderful, polite, and very cheerful on the phone. She looked for my order and for some odd reason it did not show up (I think it was my computer).  I called after the delivery time by an hour but my delivery was local.  She said that she would be able to deliver them in time. My mom sent me a picture of the flowers and they were so amazing.  I had the florist choose the arrangement.  The arrangement they chose were absolutely stunning. It's hard to find good customer service and people who really want to help you and to me that is good business.  I will definitely use this florist again.Also important to add that the price point of these flowers were very reasonable. Ordered flowers online to be delivered to a friend whose father passed away. I chose a tasteful arrangement that was reasonably priced. The morning of the scheduled delivery, I got a call from Rothe. They said that they had just received a shipment of the main flower in the arrangement, and that the quality of the flowers in the shipment was not good enough to send out. They asked if they could substitute another flower of the same color in the arrangement. I said, "You are the pros, so I leave it to your discretion." My friend called later to say what a beautiful and tasteful arrangement it was.I was impressed by the customer service -- that they called me. They could have used the substandard flowers. Or they could have substituted without contacting me. But they called.Also -- the price was quite reasonable (compared to other florists I looked at). I recently ordered flowers for the first time online with Rothe's and let me tell you they were GREAT! I ordered a sympathy bouquet to be delivered the same day, which it was. I ordered online and didn't use any kind of coupon code, but when they emailed me an invoice the next day they had taken $10 off the cost (I had originally paid) since it was my first purchase with them. This place is absolutely awesome. I've only ever used them for small bouquets but still... Once you start talking and explaining what you want, give them a price range, they really cater to precisely what you want. Very personal with attention to detail. I once explained that I was leaving flowers for my girlfriend who wouldn't be home for a couple of days and they specifically picked out the longest lasting flowers that still fit my other criteria. They are.literally across the street from me , but the reason I Will come back again and again as the service.is hands down amazing.
