Dined hear around New Years & oh my Gosh was it delicious! The ambiance has a chill vibe with low lighting & the sushi bar has an open concept. The service was excellent as well. The items on the menu are meant to be shared. Between the two of us, we ordered the edamame, chicken skewers, brussel sprouts, and the salmon & Avocado roll. I had no complaints about anything. The flavoring in the brussel sprouts was so addicting. Probably the best I've had. The edamame was perfectly salted & the sushi melted in your mouth. Came here a while back but just now getting around to the review. This place is a sushi/steakhouse, we ordered their sashimi platter thing and it was amazinggggg my favorite was the yellowtail. The fish actually tastes fresh. I also ordered the wagyu w/ bone marrow. I was a little disappointed in the bone marrow bc i assumed it would have a lot more marrow. They give u a tiny spoon to eat it w and i literally had like 2 full spoons of marrow max lol, it was not worth itHowever what i can say is their Alaskan king crab dish is amazing, it was literally my favorite dish. The sauce on it was so rich and the sauce tasted good even on the steak when we dipped it!we ended w ordered the dessert combo thing that they have and it was also pretty good, their fruit tarte thing is super sour if you're into it. Food is phenomenal. Ambience is great for a date night. Pricey but worth it. I got the grilled pork belly and snake river farms American wagyu sirloin. The wagyu is 6 oz and comes with bone marrow and truffle aioli.The wagyu is pretty good, it's very tender and juicy. The truffle aioli is great, definitely pairs well with the wagyu. The bone marrow is so savory. Happy hour review:Hamachi Serrano roll with wasabi aioli was fresh and delicious. I don't like wasabi at all but didn't mind it on this.Wagyu beef & kimchi dumplings- these had the perfect amount of beef and kimchi and they paired well togetherCrispy fried squid with chili and lime - pieces are big and crispyPrime beef skewers - very tender and juicyOverall, the happy hour is great! Amazing quality sushi and meat. It was very impressive. The service was also great. All the courses of the meal were delicious, but the only criticism I would have is the price. I suppose the quality is in fact worth that price as the sashimi was so fresh, great texture, great flavor. Even the meat was well prepared and beautifully plated. Me and my family came here to eat during Christmas Eve. Overall had a good experience! This was my first time at this restaurant. The vibe of the place is very modern, but a bit smaller than I was expecting. When first seated, we weren't given menus for like 5 minutes..Overall food was good! Everything came out pretty quick. It was pretty busy for Christmas Eve. For 5 people, we ordered 4 apps, 2 sides, 3 rolls, and 2 desserts. The dishes that really stood out to me were the chicken karaage, wagyu dumplings, and the porkbelly. The wagyu dumplings had the most tender meat I've ever eaten. The porkbelly was soo soft and flavorful!! We were going to order a wagyu steak just for the table to share, but the cost is $50 per oz and they serve a minimum of 3 oz so we were like nevermind... Also, their corn is nothing special so don't waste your money.The rolls were really good too! It was definitely something different compared to other sushi places I've tried. I think it's worth trying for all you sushi lovers! Dessert had me surprised. I normally don't like creme or custard desserts, but their ube creme dessert was something I would def eat again! I'm filipino so the fact that they had ube was great for the whole family! The consistency of the chocolate cake was a bit funny to me. It was kind of sponge-like. I also think it was supposed to be a lava cake, but the chocolate on the inside was too thick so it didn't really leak out of the cake.Overall the bill came out to $190 and my parents were shocked. That was pretty cheap for 5 people. My parents always spend at least $200 whenever we eat out. More...

Amazing happy hour deals! I would definite recommend trying the chocolate dessert!The corn-light flavors and delightful. Not too much sauce and cooked perfectlyYellowtail sashimi- fresh hamachi and paired nicely with I believe ponzu! I wish it had more spice Tuna roll was better than most places for sure. They  added a sliver of jalapeño that helped the tuna flavor. Robata umami porn and wag tu beef and kimchi was my least favorite. Seasoning was not there and texture was a big miss as well. Our server was fantastic and personable. It was my parent's first time here and he made them feel very welcome. Everything was delicious and I was so excited to get a little birthday surprise (the "VIP dessert" haha) with a candle to blow out. We had a great time, as always. This restaurant is Wow. I had previously concluded that Houston has no good sushi place, but this place changed my mind. We sat at the bar table, and the sushi chef was very meticulous and thoughtful on how he cut the sashimi. The sashimi dish was also a great deal. Only $46 for a big dish with tons of fresh fish! We thought we'd get 2 pieces each but the dish included 4 pieces of each of the 7 fish. The corn, rolls, rice, everything were good. Amazing experience! We did the Omakase for my fiancé’s birthday. I got the wine pairings with it as well. Everything tasted absolutely amazing. I have noted on the reservation that it was my fiancé’s birthday and we were wanting the Omakase experience and it was apparent that the restaurant read the request and made sure they addressed every part. Gary was our waiter and he was so wonderful at reading our personalities and I truly enjoyed him informing me about all the wines I was tasting. All over, a thoroughly enjoyable evening. Got there early, service seemed slow on the uptake. Items were very good, not remarkable. 3 vegetarian children in our party.
