Rocky fin is a solid mid week dinner option if you are in a hurry.  I always do take out and have never ran into a line -- spicy tuna and salmon are my go to.

I delayed this review after trying some other places around town. It is one of the better options around town if you're craving poke. This is going to sound like an exaggeration, but I can assure it is completely factual should you choose to find out for yourself. The staff here are always awesome. They're happy, quick, and take care of the customer. Even when the place is pippin' they stay calm and get your food out together quickly.Now the food- the reason we're all here. SO GOOD. All of the food is incredibly tasty. I have literally never had anything here that isn't as good or better than any place in town. I submit it is always better than anywhere else in town. A huge factor for me is also the portions. The portions align with what you pay perfectly. 10/10 would recommend will return you need to try it!Now for the one downside - why can't we buy some of those sweet shirts?! More...

Best poke in Denver.  If this isn't enough said, let's talk toppings.  There are better mixing combinations here than anywhere else.  Instead of feeling like you are nickle and dimed for toppings, 4 of one type of toppings and 4 of another are included.  There are lot of great sauce options, and they are happy to recommend a combination of sauces as well.  In particular, I've fallen in love with walnuts as poke topping on my salmon bowl with half brown rice, half greens and love the shoyu sauce combined with ponzu yuzu, while my husband loves tuna with spice aoili mixed with sweet onion.  Even better, they have cooked shrimp, chicken and tofu for those that refuse to enjoy the delight that is true poke.  I could eat it weekly. Order poke bowls through their online ordering process for takeout. Super easy and straight forward! Plenty of options to choose from which is nice for those who like to stuff their poke bowls. The fish was fresh and didn't have that fishy taste to it. Cilantro was a bit dry and wasn't shredded nicely, which made it harder to eat. The spicy Shoyu sauce was good but it wasn't spicy at all!I was hoping the restaurant had premade menu items because sometimes I'm just too indecisive and don't know what mixes well hahaha.The restaurant itself is very clean and good amount of space to sit indoors. When the sun's out and you expect it to be warm, but it really it's freezing outside and you wish you were in Hawaii eating a bowl of poke. They don't play when they say: healthy, fresh, and TASTY! I love the options you get here. It's a fast casual place that doesn't skimp on quality. I've tried other Poké bowls in Denver, and none come close to Rocky Fin in terms of quality and taste. I would've given them five stars if the service was more consistent. Depending on who is creating your bowl, the "scoops" are only half of the actual scoop, so I've occasionally felt "cheated" on paying for 2 scoops of protein when they really only gave me just over one scoop. Also, depending on who's at the counter, they may not give you the toppings/add-ons you ask for the first or second time (bc they're not really listening; they're distracted). So just pay attention to what they put in your bowl so that you get what you asked for and not miss on any of the yummy toppings.My favorite: 2 scoops of salmon on spring mix with toppings of edamame, cucumbers, jalapeños, and add-ons: spicy crab mix, pickled ginger, masago, squid salad, and the Rex sauce. I did an online order. Love the customized options! Quick and easy to order and pick up. They even have small packs of wasabi which was great! The spicy tuna was a bit spicier than I expected, but the blend of vegetables was perfect to balance out. The 3 protein portion was a large amount of food! This place was awesome. I know Poke is popping up everywhere, about as often as Pokemon spawn on the Pokemon Go app. But this Poke was great! Tons of options, everything was fresh and within a decent price range, taste and filling, and the staff was bubbly and friendly. She gave me plenty of food for my bowl, and was fairly knowledgeable about all the ingredients. I'd say this is a win. I had the salmon and tuna and both tasted super fresh. I never had poke before that's why I'm here. And I love it . I created by my own : spring mix for my base , salmon and shrimp for my proteins , cucumber tomatoes and little jalapeño for my topping , told them mix all with the Rex and sshoyu sauce( Those are spicy sauce if you like spicy then try it ) , last add on with spicy crab , seaweed salad ,avocado ( $1 charge that's fine) ,Little fish egg and picked ginger . Was in Denver for a long weekend and a friend highly recommended to come here. This is a "fast food" poke place where you can get one of their bowl ideas or you can make your own. It was a rainy day and I wanted to grab quick food before running off to the airport. I hopped on a Lyft scooter and happily scooted my way here as the rain poured down on my head.I decided to go with one of their bowls,  Ichiban , and was not disappointed. It had tuna, salmon, crab meat, edemame,etc. Was a decent amount if food for $10. I ate some when I got home and the rest a few hours later before my flight and it was so fresh both times.   I would highly recommend coming here for lunch.
