What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
Creating great images of people, in my opinion, is the photographer's ability to accurately interpret the light they are working with, being confident in presenting oneself as professional, and communicating that it's my job to translate the clients desired images into photos that bring smiles to all that see them. However, most of all, it's about having fun! Happy people makes for happy photos.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
I always ask my clients if they have any unique look or ideas that they wish to have captured in a photograph. How can I create an image for you, that truly shows what you are all about? Would you like to do something "Outside the Box"?
What do you love most about your job?
I really love seeing people's face's light up when they see their finished portraits. I also love the fact that with family portraits, I've created an image that a families will refer back to for years into the future. Family photos are priceless to families as time goes on. To have a professional photo of a family to span generations is a valued keepsake.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Photography is something I've done most of my adult life. It is an extension of who I am. I love being create, and sharing that creativity with others is a natural progression for me. I'm also very much a "people" person. I truly enjoy being around, and meeting new people. Being able to capture people, families, and special events is something I look forward to.
Why should our clients choose you?
As a freelance photographer, I confidently offer high quality photography at very reasonable prices. I also offer the option to have the digital images released on DVD, if a client prefers files, with a full copyright release. One more great reason to choose me as your photographer, is that I do drone/aerial videos at the end of each natural light (outdoor) portrait session, at no extra charge. It's all about having fun, and getting professional quality images from a session!
