What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
RJD Creative has comprehensive client and project questionnaires that are completed before the project begins. Questions cover subjects including the organization, its audiences and competitors, project objectives, requirements, and specifications.
Describe your creative process.
We begin with the business objective, and what we know about the organization, its audiences and competitors. We conduct further research if necessary. We outline a creative strategy including messaging (verbal and visual) and media, define deliverables, and pinpoint how these will fulfill project goals. We then begin creative development, collaborating with the client to get their valuable input. When creative is approved, we facilitate distribution through the pre-determined media channels, and gauge audience response and project success through monitoring of appropriate data and metrics.
What information do you need from a client before you can start work?
RJD Creative gathers the information we need about the organization, its audiences, its competitors, and project goals and requirements through up-front discussions and our client and project questionnaires.

What inspired you to start your own business?
I left the design agency environment 16 years ago to deal with clients directly, to help them solve business problems by improving their marketing communications.
