The staff is SO nice and attentive to any special needs. Our dog is missing digits on her paw and it gets sore if she plays too long. They watch for signs and rest her when she needs it. The facility is clean and the staff is professional and accommodating. Everyone is super nice and very patient! We have a 5-year-old male lab mix that we adopted almost 3 years ago, wonderful dog, but since the beginning has had an aversion to any type of hard floors inside anywhere. We have to have a runner carpet through our kitchen so he will come inside and it took us almost 2 years to get him to hang out in the garage. It is always a challenge getting him inside anywhere (no amount of treats or smooches will convince him). The girls at the facility laid rugs and towels down for our big boy and helped me get him inside. He looks and feels fantastic and looks super sharp in his bandana. The price is amazing too. I've taken my mini schnauzer here for both grooming & doggy daycare. Both were fantastic. Allie did an incredible job grooming Chloè. I'm really saddened by the news that she will no longer be able to continue grooming. I paid more than I ever had, but Chloè had never looked better.Daycare was just as wonderful and was not as expensive as the grooming, very competitive pricing. The kennels are more like hotel rooms for dog, not the cold concrete spaces you see at other boarding facilities. Chloè was brought out of her "room"' to play a couple times per day and I was told she had a great one-on-one play date with another mini schnauzer. I liked that she wasn't thrown into an area with all the dogs, as I've heard horror stories how it's more likely for a dogfight to break out.I will not hesitate to take Chloè back for daycare. Grooming schedule is difficult to get booked, they are usually booked out at least a month in advance. I'll be taking her to be groomed at Wishbone this time (have read nothing but good reviews), as I'm unable to wait until River Valley has an opening. More...

I just purchased two puppies during the summer of 2013 and knew that Allie Maurer was the only one I would take them to. She does an excellent job every time she grooms them and they always look great when I pick them up. Allie asks for my opinion on how I would like them to be cut, grooms them in a timely manner and shows care and concern for my dogs, who I consider part of the family.
