Aubrey and her team are wellness gurus. The well truly is a unique approach to personal training. They do not stick you in a box, each plan is personalized to each client. They look at your diet, your form, the way you move, and of course a work out too. They msnage to bring success to even the most non believer. I started working with the trainers at The Well back in April of 2019.  Somewhat skeptical what the "holistic" approach really meant, I figured I liked the concept so I should give it a try.  Am I ever glad I did.  The approach laid forth by the owner is phenomenal.  Look at all aspects that make a person "feel well"!     1. Are they "physically well"?          - No, let's build a reasonable and an achievable plan that gets us moving that way.          - Yes, great how far do you want to go?  We've built plans for marathons and ironman.  We got this.    2. Are you "eating well"?   No, let's fix that.  A good car takes good fuel.  Comfort food is temporary bliss but leads to lower performance.  3.  Are you "mentally well"?  No, not ink blots, but rather is your mind focused or distracted?  Let's get those bumble bees making honey and not buzzing around causing confusion.  Through daily emails and weekly conversations The WELL helped me get and maintain focus.  4.  Are you "spiritually well"?  Well, I'm not a religious person, so I was skeptical on this one.  But what it really came down to is the state of my "inner calmness".  I call it my soul, but you can call it what you want.  It's that Christmas time feeling of peace and goodwill.  5.  Are your "Relationships Well"?  Are you and your rope team working together to maximize your relationship?  Good relationships help you perform better.  Great relationships help you soar.  Not a marriage counselor, nor a conflict negotiator, but helped me look at my relationships and focus on growing those that lifted me and trim back those that are toxic and holding me back.But I'll really let the results speak for themselves....  - down 30 pounds in 5 months, completed my first triathlon in 3 years, ready to run the Richmond Half-Marathon this weekend 11/16.  Physically fit - check  - business back on track, performing better than ever.  Focused, solution minded and energetic helped me get it right.- check  - strengthened relationships with some I lost touch with.  These folks have helped me grow and for that I owe them immensely.  Of course the increased energy has helped me keep these lines communicating- check  - the bumble bees are calm, my soul is happy and the future looks bright!- checkThank You The WELL!  You guys are awesome. I took a foam roller class at Richmond Wellness. It was a great class! It's a small, very personal setting. I loved it. The only problem was parking because the restaurant on the corner was having a charity brunch that morning. I found a space about a block away. It was okay though. Nothing like a good brisk walk to prepare you to stretch it out on a foam roller!!I like the "mobile program" they offer......personal training on the go! Very convenient for busy people. The owner trains one of my friends and he looks amazing!! He said he feels great!I highly recommend this business!! More...

I'm biased because I both work there and work out there. It's a small place, but I like that because there's no hype, and it allows for a more personalized-individualized attention. One doesn't have to be embarassed about what they look like to other gym-goers. One can get non-judgemental and understanding fitness, nutrition, relaxing massages, and caring services/coaching from those of us that work at Richmond Wellness. I had an amazing several.months training with Aubrey. I was able to get back into to the groove of training which I had been lacking for the past months. She was on point in giving me the necessary tools to get back into the weight room. I was able to hit the gym hard moving forward but the confidence that I was able to get working with Aubrey was invaluable. She is a great trainer and really is on top of her game. I live in Florida, but Aubrey has taken the time to remotely train me. She listens to you and what goals you want to accomplish and designs the workouts to fit your specific needs. Aubrey is a great personal trainer who encompasses all aspects of health, from mental awareness to physical being. She is quick to develop effective workouts while keeping in mind correct form and supporting clients who struggle with injuries and weak areas. Aubrey modifies workouts enough to enable you to correctly do the workout without injury but not enough that you will not feel the exercise. She is quick to respond to your needs and takes into consideration feedback. I have never felt ashamed by my body and ability working out at Richmond Wellness. She is incredibly supportive and positive which makes your workout enjoyable and effective for the mind and body. I have worked with Michele only one time so far, but she is quick to modify workouts for your needs and pays attention to correct form and prior injuries to ensure the workout does not progress the injury. The group workouts are really helpful for getting in your weekly times for exercise. The remote coaching is great for doing workouts at home or the gym and around someone's complex schedule. And the individual personal training sessions are essential to developing the foundation of exercise and fitness. I was gifted a Groupon for a 60-minute massage at Richmond Wellness. I had my massage earlier this week and I left feeling great. Marina took the time to ask what my concerns were (upper back) and truly customized my massage experience. It was just the right amount of pressure in the areas I needed most. I knew I had knots, but I had no idea how bad they were (or where they were exactly). The amazing scented candles really put me in a relaxed mood, and reminded me how much I love candles but don't own any at the moment!They have massage packages and they also offer personal training.
