Great sound, even rows in the balcony are good views. The size of the seats though are very restricting. ZERO leg room, and width in the seats. You are basically not moving, not comfortable. With that in mind, this building is very old and I suspect people back in the day were 5 ft. tall and 100 lbs. at most, lol. We noticed that the next to the back row people were sitting on the top edge of their seats since no one was seated in the very last row. Otherwise, you could go stand on the lobby, but you'd miss the concert. The upstairs bar is like a secret because the line was 10 times less than downstairs. Drinks were good, strong. More...

Really a cool and throw back venue in Tucson. Sound and lights are pretty good and pro. Little balcony and just a nice, pleasant vibe. Saw l& here and was killer.

Sound is OK. Beer selection could be better- I wish they poured something local instead at the main bar. Friendly staff, clean bathroom. The attached bar and patio are great though. Better drinks out there and nice outdoor seating. More...

The Rialto Theater is a historic part of Tucson and has showcased events for all genres. Last night I was there attending a Muay Thai Boxing Event, and was surprised to see so many people! The the theater is manly a stand-up theater in the main area, but does have seating in the balcony area. This is definitely something you need to know if you are planning to see an event there! They have a couple of bar areas for drinks and restrooms to use for intermission. It's an Historic experience. Recommend :) More...

I had the best experience here. They have a ticket subscription thing that is definitely worth taking a look at. Drinks are a little overpriced but it’s worth it! I’ve seen plenty of bands here and I will continue coming back. The arena is actually pretty big. Bathrooms are kept nice and the interior is overall just amazing. More...

Conveniently located in the heart of downtown Tucson. Their bathroom facilities we're recently updated and are a vast improvement to what they used to be. There are two levels to the viewing area however the balcony is usually off limits for small shows or it is an extra charge to go up there or people with annual memberships may go up there. The bottom floor area is spacious with no columns obstructing your view and the floor is gradually sloped concrete. For more mellow shows, folding chairs are put out on either side of the bottom viewing area. The stage is a pretty typical size (maybe a tad bit smaller) but definitely not huge. The sound can be very good. I have had mixed results based on the band's sound person. There is plenty of space to reposition yourself around the sound cones emenating from the large stacks of speakers to give your ears some.equalizer options. There is a bar at the back of the bottom floor viewing area. The exit spills into a large (fairly clean) alley where there are several bars and food places nearby. More...

I've enjoyed this place for as long as I've been coming here. For the shows I have seen, they have been great. The beer selection is decent but good enough. It is also nice that you can purchase drinks from R Bar next door. They have good bathrooms and they have the portable restrooms outside. The sound is usually very good, though I have had experiences where the sound was off. More...

This was my second time to go to Rialto, both times were excellent. I bought a $100 membership the first time. I never got to use any of the benefits, only good for the one year.
Saw Los Lonely Boys....awesome instrumentals....ill never miss a chance to enjoy them.
The first time was 2015 with two of my son's and future daughter in law. This second time, my youngest son passed away in 2016.
So the concert was bitter sweet.
I've never been dealt with rudely, but then again, I don't act disruptive to others. (Shrug)

We took our children to their first concert here. The staff gave us guitar picks and then the photographer handed us a handful of ear plugs out of concern for our children's little ears. Sure, the patrons and staff could have judged us for bringing our 6 and 8 year old out to see Steve Earle, but they didn't. They only smiled. The man sitting next to us said he was reminded of his own little girl falling asleep during an Iris Dement concert. Full circle, y'all. I guess what I'm saying is: Tucson is a great place to raise a family. And places like The Rialto serve to create future patrons of the arts. More...

My first time at the Rialto.
Cinema Twain and Val Kilmer

I arrived about 45 minutes early. There was a line out front. I was in it for about 4 minutes. Security was pleasant and efficient. I believe they take orders from the performer. If something isn't allowed, follow the rules.
The line for will-call took longer, but still not bad.
I was escorted to my seat then decided to get a drink and hang out on the patio for a few minutes.

Those complaining about how long they spent in line might show up sooner. Four minutes for a sold out show is nothing.

Those complaining about what's allowed inside, read the venue info before you arrive!

Those complaining about the cost of a drink might go out more often. $6 for a brand Gin & Tonic is cheap.

Ok, so yes... the folding seats are hard and get uncomfortable but at least you're not standing for two hours and since the floor is slanted, everyone can see!

I enjoyed my first visit to the Rialto and will return.

I have always loved the Rialto, however last night I got severely overheated. The staff there were amazing. I believe her name was Jessica, realized I was not drunk, that it was heat. She jumped into action and got me back to feeling so much better. The rest of the night staff checked in with me to make sure I was still doing alright. I hated that such a fuss was made but am so grateful that I was there and not somewhere else. Thank you Rialto for having both great shows and such an amazing staff. More...

This venue is iconic in downtown Tucson, and is one of my favorite in Tucson. The floor has a grade, which is nice for me since I'm short, it makes it easier to see without having to be too far away from the stage. The balcony is nice. You can also rent it out for special events. It is also a non-profit in Tucson that deserves support for all they do to keep arts and culture in Tucson vibrant. More...

This is a great concert venue. I catch shows here all the time. If you become a "theatre" level member ($100 per year) you get to skip the lines to get in, free popcorn every show, $1 discount on all drinks, along with a few other cool benefits. They bring some pretty good shows and acts through all the time. You might want to show up early if it's a big act, lines can get backed up and take 20 minutes or more to get through. More...

I took my youngest son to his first concert here. Now I have been going to the Rialto for years. My first Concert was seen at this venue. I have always preferred this venue over others, due to its nostalgic atmosphere and overall capacity. This most recent visit to take my son to see Datsik, I have to say the Staff were amazing. The security staff treated us so awesome. We were perfectly content standing in the general area to watch, and as the music and the crowd started really cutting loose, apparently the security staff noticed my son and I struggling in the crowd , and the approached us and offered us side seats to view the concert. It was extremely nice that they did, and they consistently kept checking on us, and brought us complimentary water as well. Throughout the show I noticed the staff continually attending the majority of the crowd with water and a general care and concern I honestly never noticed. By far the current security staff are phenomenal, and will definitely have me coming back for more shows. Thank YOU all Rialto Theater Staff for providing a safe and Enjoyable space for my son to enjoy his first concert. I'm sure he'll never forget More...

We moved to Tucson in October and quickly became members. Everything about this evening was amazing, starting with Gretchen, the Head of Security who was "on it" before it happened. There was a large crowd and she repeatedly kept people from trying to be where they didn't belong (storming the stage). The bar and concession people kept long lines moving quickly.
