I have known Mike Pilko and the team at RHJ Associates for 10+ years. In fact, I respect this firm so much, I now do some work for them. They are a client of mine because Mike runs a true team of professionals who "get it!" They make every effort to understand and address their clients needs, work within established budgets and deliver what they promise. Life is not perfect and for me the true test of a firm is how they deal with the unexpected hiccups that often pop up on a project. These folks take charge and take ownership to resolve any issues, even at times when they are not responsible, in order to deliver the best outcome they possibly can for their clients.Many architects and designers live in their own world, often forcing their "vision" on to a client, costing that client money and time, and sometimes spaces that do not work.
