I've always passed by and never thought to go in. This is my finals week of my senior year and I finally went it. BOY was I missing out! ! I wish I came here sooner! I assumed since it's a deli, that they only served sandwiches, but they have breakfast too!! I got the Dwayne $6.99 -- egg omelet w cheese (surprisingly the best thing ever), one huge pancake w syrup, and 2 pork sausages.It was really filling and pretty tasty. The prices are not bad at all. Everything is less than $12, and the portions are huge.There's really no parking, so unless you're a student or you work around the area, it's kind of a pain to get to. My first time here and I was extremely pleased. This is a counter service New York style deli. Call out your order and what toppings you want. I had the "New Yorker", corned beef and pastrami on extremely fresh rye bread with good spicy mustard. The sandwich was one of the best I've had in years.There is nothing fancy about this place at all. In addition to a wide choice of sandwiches, they have soups and salads, good sides, coffee drinks and desserts. WOW. My family and I are in Atlanta for a wedding and had some time to explore the downtown area and get some lunch. We stopped at Reuben's Deli because it's easy to please everyone with sandwiches. We all got something different and LOVED everything! Portions were a great size, enough to bring a half sandwich home for a snack later! Awesome Deli in downtown Atlanta! I'm usually near this area during the weekdays and decided to give this a try today as I've gotten a craving for New York deli sandwiches recently. I had a Reuben and hot pastrami sandwich on rye in NYC at Katz Delicatessen so I'm familiar with the high level of quality they offer. Needless to say, I was thoroughly impressed with their pastrami meat quality, sauerkraut, and bread here at Reuben's deli! It's not as great as Katz but it's probably one of the best I've had in Atlanta, and it's half of Katz's price! I look forward to returning here and trying some of their other sandwiches in the future. More...
