Had dinner with the family after an event for my granddaughter. The food was great, but the best part was the service. Certainly, while we were there, the server was terrific. However, the best part was what happened afterward. When I got home, I couldn’t locate a ring I had worn that night. I wasn’t sure where I had lost it, but I emailed the restaurant just in case. To my surprise, I was contacted by the manager. They found my ring! Not only that, but he mailed it back to me. To be honest I’ve never eaten Red Hot & Blue inside the restaurant, but have used them multiple times for catering. It’s so easy to build a spread from their catering menu. All of their meat entrees can be ordered by the pound and most sides by the pint. Whatever you do, don’t skip the sourdough rolls — they are worth whatever additional walking or crunches you have to trade for the extra calories. In addition to pickup, they have delivery, and (at the time of writing) are available on DoorDash. My favorite meat is the brisket btw. And my favorite catering trick is to use their menu to create a baked potato bar. More...

It was really great until sometime after April of 2019. Apparently the restauranteur sold it back to the corporate entity after said corporation had been bought by a young, ambitious somebody-born-into-means who wanted to instantly replicate the success of a joint like Heims', but by modding an established brand. Anything's worth a try, and if anyone can help them pull it off, it's the capable staff and management of the Fort Worth RHB location. I had red hot and blue for the first-time due to me being from new york and let me tell you! These are the best ribs I have every had in my life. Very good bbq joint we go there for lunch during the week. It's right down the street from one of the properties we do work for. We always go at a time when they are never busy which is always good. Our experience was awesome as usual. I believe our waitresses name was Madison. She was on top of everything, she was very personable, very professional, and very attentive to our needs. Absolutely delicious! At the time we came, we figured there would be alot of people, but there was maybe 3-4 groups of people a few in the bar that's about it. And the food itself, was delicious, especially when you use one of the 4 sauces they have at the table, one of the weirdest things though is that your drink comes in a mini pitcher usually used to pour drinks. We really enjoy RH&B. We love the food and the music and atmosphere.THIS LOCATION is the best. We have tried 4 DFW locations, and this one has better tasting potato salad and sweet tea. The pulled pork and smoked turkey are delicious. The cole slaw is great. If eating gluten free, we ask the server to place all biscuits on a separate plate, so that way all entrees come out sans bread. That way we can eat off each others plate, but the folks not GF can enjoy their honey butter biscuits for dessert. Â We also appreciate the art and blues memorabilia on the walls. Jennifer was very attentive and our drinks never got empty. Â My son says the mac n cheese was 5 stars. I got the Delta Double (I picked 1/4 dark meat chicken & sausage) it was just like I remember as the location we used to eat at closed down long ago. Tried it, loved it and can't wait to go back! Brisket sandwhich is so far my favorite, wings 2nd favorite, hamburger was good. I liked the seasoning on the fries. The flavor on the pulled pork was excellent! Good portion sizes for the money. Oh and the drinks that were brought to my kids... You must go and see this! Afternoon service was friendly, but a bit slow. Fried pickles were done right! Light, crisly, flavorful breading. Dipping sauce was too thin and no spoon in sight. Pulled pork looked dry, though the flavor was good. Dry ribs were tender and meaty; the real work had been done in the smoking process - the bright orange spice mix on top seemed an unnecessary afterthought. The brisket was tender and moist enough, but I liked it better with a light sprinkling of salt. The green beans were tasty, though overcooked. I chose to combine the mild and the sweet BBQ sauce for the best flavor. Nice to have lots of choices in that department. The garlic mashed potatoes were creamy, but not much evidence of garlic. They come smothered in cream gravy, which was not wanted. Should tell you that on the menu. They brought us a replacement serving when asked. My fellow diners enjoyed the chili and the potato salad.
