I believe that as a trainer it is my job to improve the communication between a dog and their human. I do not have a one size fits all approach, what works for one dog, may not work for another. I like to address the reason for a certain behavior and not just put a quick- fix band aid on it.

Stephanie Curran is a very knowledgeable, no- hype professional that can keenly assess the dog's issue and has demonstrated proven techniques to guide the dog to success. Shiba Rescue of New England highly recommends! More...

What do you love most about your job?
By far, the best thing about my job is when I am working with a client and their dog and all of a sudden it just clicks for them. You can see it in their face and in their body language when they truly understand and start to form a deeper connection with their pup. Their is no greater reward than seeing the relationship between a dog and their human grow stronger!
What inspired you to start your own business?
I actually got my start in rescue, particularly pit bull rescue. I found that most of the dogs we fostered, ended up being in that situation (through no fault of their own) due to a lack of training. Someone actually dropped off a dog to us that had some pretty serious behavioral issues, in order to help I had to learn! The more I learned the more I realized that the biggest reason dogs end up in shelters is because of behavior issues that could have been avoided had they received proper training in the first place. So if I can help even one dog stay out of a shelter, then I think it is all worth it. Pit bulls will always have a special place in my heart, but I will happily train any dog of any age and size :)
Why should our clients choose you?
I don't offer quick fixes that may not last, what I offer are real solutions that require time and dedication but they will last.
